Weaknesses of the transformers

Yeah, I was wondering cause some guy I know says the don't have a weakness of the cold.

Is that true?

You know what I wondered.Why is it in G1,Transformers could be dipped in lava and still live,but in beast wars terrorsaur and sorrpinok died in lava,and later Megatron did'nt die from it?

BW TFs had organic matter covering them, and were made of less durable metal. G1 TFs were huge and were more durable compared to BW ones....

Magnets can affect them, but unless the magnet was bigger or heavier than they are, it would more likely stick to them than them being immobilized by it.

Don't like extreme heat, don't like extreme cold, and apparently from the movie a lot of pressure can crush them (dropped in the ocean).

Primal did make a mention of diecast construction. :P Afterall, beasties were made with plastic. And as for megs, thats cause he had G1 megs spark in him so it boosted his power.

If I remember right, they weren't too fond of Cosmic Rust either. Of course, that was just in the cartoon. But what giant living sentient machine would like rust?
