I forget why, but Tformers used to be my little home. Though, they were pretty crap-tastic so before long I stumbled on to this place in late 06. Until then I had never really browsed forums, but this one somehow stood out to me. There were a lot of cool dudes on the forum like Counterpunch, and 1337W422102 (forgive me if I got a few of those numbers wrong), and then Ryan himself really knew what he was doing, plus the entire staff made the site fun.
Another reason I stuck around was because of the galleries and the fact that this site’s the best resource for TF news I’ve ever seen. About the time I found this site I quit going to Tformers completely. They didn’t even compare so I felt no need to stick around there.
Then July 07, I turned thirteen and was old enough to join a message board. Unfortunately, by that time the boards were being overrun by trolls, n00bs and 08 Bumblebee, so I didn’t join until a day in November when I had nothing else to do.
In short: Tformers sucks, we rock. That’s why I joined Seibertron.com.

well if my memory is correct the vector sigma data base brought me here.i was looking for info on my favorite transformers. and i found it. and then i found and read the message boards for like five months then joined. then next i know i have two homes.

I found this place shortly before Heavy Metal War started. Once HMW was online it gave me a reason to stay. Now? Now I come and go but Seibertron is the one Transformers site I go to most for anything TF.

I had never been very involved in forums online, but I used to stop by allspark.com and lurk there. Every so often I'd check out the news on seibertron.com. Then I decided to go to BotCon07. 3/4 of the drive there, we got behind another car that was covered in TF stickers, obviously headed to BotCon. At the next gas station, my girlfriend and I stopped and met the couple from the other car. Their names were Chad and Misty. They knew a few of the Seibertron folks and once we got to BotCon, they introduced us and we all hung out and had a blast. The second day of BotCon, I signed up on seibertron.com and found that not only is the site the best, but the people are as well. I suppose it's also worth mentioning that back in the 90s, Ryan(Seibertron) put out a TF newsletter called Trans-Forum to which I subscribed. So, though I never knew him personally back then, once I met him at BotCon and visited seibertron.com, it was like coming home.

I always wanted to ask you that, as I saw yoyur join date a few months ago. That's an awesome story. Btw, I saw your 07 Botcon pics on your Myspace page. You need to grow your hair long like it was in 07 for this year's con, that looked kickass.

I think I read about Seibertron in a blog back in '03 when the movie was still just a rumor. Prior to that, I used to visit Bigbot.com all the time. Good site for news, bad site for pictures. So I'd have to say that the Seibertron galleries are what really got my attention.

I've been lurking Transformers Web sites since the Beast Machines days, maybe even Beast Wars. (http://www.beastmachines.com and beastmachines2.com, anyone? anyone?). First fan-fic I ever read was the Transformers movie spoof, back when Windows 3.1 was new, modems couldn't quite reach 56K and the Usenet was still pretty happenin'.
Never signed up on forums until recently, mostly because I was turned off by silly bickering (tformers.com). Decided this was a nice part of town to settle into.
Also, my search for Titanium Ultra Magnus may have had some influence over registering. After seeing the first high-resolution pictures of him, I decided my life just could not go on without him. And I'm all the better for it now.

The RPG was great at one time. By far the best out there. Things are gonig slow right now because we had to start from scratch. We're always looking for new players too!
It isn't hard (well the application process can be aggravating) to play, doesn't take a lot of time, it is written not turn based, and it is starting from scratch. There are no power players as of yet. Give it a whirl.

I saw the Unicron trilogy on tv, got interested and nostalgic, and this site kept coming up. Pictures, movie news, opinions on series past..
