I have to say it lives up to the hype that has been placed on this game. I can't wait to try multiplayer just to see how well it works. I just redeem the code to download shockwave I won't spoil the two unlockable characters you can get for complete both the decepticon and autobot campaign which you can then use in multiplayer mode. I can't wait to find out what other people think of the game.

The thing I found really cool about the autobot campaign boss battle with soundwave is that they included three of his tapes which shows how much they care about the product. Now if only they can fix on-line so you can host a public match unstead of it being crap shoot as to weather or not you will host the game and play as an autobot unstead of a decepticon.

It's a great game with a great story to back it up. The action is pretty intense and I'm actually liking the multiplayer.

My only gripe is the single player co-op with the computer team mates...

They seem to be there simply for witty banter and not much else. They hardly do any damage and, IMHO, the enemy seems to disregard their presence altogether. I would have liked them to be more helpful, such as...if it were implemented, being able to revive a fallen comrade in battle. I know the game does it in multiplayer and some missions, but I think it would have been better throughout the game.

I still like the game. I just think this would have made it better.

I'm really not much of a gamer so for the most part I've been watching my older brother play the game and enjoying the story and such. I love the whole look of the game. It's overwhelming at times and at certain times it's difficult to distinguish various objects and characters from the background. Good thing the enemies glow brighter then a lite brite. lol

I love the banter between Skywarp and Thundercracker. And Megatron's line to Barricade "Yes we made it Barricade. Your constant whining saw us through" still makes me giggle.

It's a great game. Pure fanservice. I hope it sells well, so they will maybe produce a sequel set on earth.

The multiplayer aspect is amazing. I love how frantic it gets, especially with the 2 sec respawn times and everything.

Amazing!! THE Transformers experience of the decade!! The single player was good enough, but they also put in a solid multiplayer mode AND Escalation!! A few minor details keep this game from perfection, but it comes really damn close, and is by far the best Transformers game available.

I've made it into the Autobots portion of campaign mode, and I'm still enjoying the campaign gameplay so far.

In terms of game dynamics, I find the weakest part of the game might be the special attacks, at least on the PC version. Half the time I forget I have them; the other half of the time my pinky can't reach the right key to use the one I want (and I don't seem to be able to adjust the keyboard layout).

Really, this seems to get to the heart of the biggest drawback of the multiplayer modes as well -- a lack of control and customization. Not only is the lack of chat on the PC a major weakness, you can't even choose what server to join...and it doesn't look like anyone can set up their own self-designed matches. It would be nice if High Moon could loosen the leash on PC players.

In terms of the narrative, the game is doing a great job of creating its own history and mythos. I might not agree with every choice (Why would you assign an unreliable sky commander to guard duty for the most powerful resource on your planet? Why would Optimus be called Optimus before he became a Prime?), but those are mostly quibbles. My only major complaint on the storytelling side so far is that I'm not sure I always buy the voice casting. The actors themselves are doing just fine...but I'm not sure the voices always fit the character.

All that being said, this is pretty much the Transformers game that fans have always fantasized, so kudos to High Moon for pulling this off where so many others have failed miserably and painfully. I'd say this is one of the only recent games I've played that lived up to its seemingly ubiquitous hype.
