Mine's simple. It's my user id from college when I was logging into the school's Unix server. I pretty much use it on every forum I'm on.

I prefer to assume that it's from The Tick because that makes me happy.

Mine's pretty easy (more or less). I'm an Ultra Magnus fan. When I started my intranetical adventures, I was Ultra Magnus for just about everything. I had it on a couple other message boards including the old Wizard World boards (before they became Nazis over there). When I first came here, Ultra Magnus was already in use and Car Robots was currently enjoying its run on Japanese television (before we got the crappy translated version known as RiD). Hence, God Magnus was born (so to speak). By the way, I love parentheses (does it show?)!

Also, on a similarly fun note, I am known elsewhere as "magnusistaken". I came up with this one when I first tried to register for AIM and I tried every variation on the Ultra Magnus name with the result being, "Magnus is already taken. Please select another user name and try again".

But wait, there's more. There are several places where you can find me as "Ted Kord" due to my fondness for the Blue Beetle.

Okay, that's all (I swear).

Let me tell you a tale that few have heard and even less care to hear.

It all started back when I got my first email address.

Back in the day I still played football. My nickname on the field was Gorilla. My first number was 25 and the second was 56. Back in that time Aol would not allow gorilla2556. So I decided on gorilla256. After a year or so I decided to change my sn. Rodimus Prime was always my favorite transformer so I then became rodimusprime256. It was under this alias I first joined Seibertron. Occasionally you may see Halo, or one of the other answerers call me Roddy### that's why. Rodimusprime256 was the persona I used on every message board I belonged to. Then one Halloween I decided to take on a "costume" for my persona. Thus enters Rodimus_Lantern. I have since developed Rodimus Lantern into a fanfic character. I mostly go by my real name or Rodimus Lantern on message boards now.

Heres something I find interesting about 256...
256*2=512
512= May 12th My birthday.
256= The number of regular season football games in the NFL.

Postby Senor Hugo » Thu Mar 29, 2007 11:43 pm

Señor Hugo was a moniker I whipped up while I was big into wrestling. Armed with a Psycosis mask, I called myself Señor Hugo and went to several indy wrestling events in Michigan with a group of friends who also bore masks.

Eventually I was doing commentary and setting up the ring for the indy wrestling company CIW in Michigan.

After a falling out with two of the friends(they owed me money and refused to pay when the money was needed.) I ditched them to their hillbilly white trash ways and went on to bigger and better things.

The Psycosis mask was retired, and I adopted a skeletor like mask I found in Halloween USA. Whipped up a backstory as to how Hugo was in a high school chemistry class accident that melted his face off, leaving his head nothing but a skull, but he survived, and has the ability to make his eyes glow.

I keep the Hugo name because it's just been a huge part of my fictional life, and I'm using the character in a comic I'm working on.

I like the Scorponok/Lord Zarak character, as well as the Fort Max/Galen/Spike characters.

I came up with my own version of Zarak back when I didn't know the real story beyond 1987, and Zarak became kind of an antihero in a way.

A long time ago there was a guy named Redstreak on the site. I basically ripped off his idea of putting Red in a TF name, and turned Black Zarak into Red Zarak.

Then about a year ago, maybe two, I upgraded to Dark Zarak.

Before any of that Zarak stuff, I was Killer Instinct. Some might even remember that, but I doubt it. Killer Instinct was the name of a SNES fighting game that was really popular at the time, and then fell completely out of notice ever since. I loved it because you could be a werewolf, a raptor, a guy of fire, a guy of ice, and even an aztec looking skeleton warrior. It was extremely technical though, more about combo strings then gameplay, so I guess Street Fighter remained the king in the end.
Buy my RiD toys! They're awesome, I promise!!!!

"Soon, we'll be able to eject the entire kitchen from the building! Next time evil tries to catch us with our pants down, they'll get a faceful of kitchen!"

- The Tick

for years, i had an incredibly unoriginal username (Trans4mers4ever) that i'd come up with when i was something like 12 or 13 and just never changed. i grew to absolutely loathe it, but i figured people had gotten to know me by it. when i finally decided to change after the recent board reset (i'd been contemplating it for years, but that's when i said "to hell with it, i need a fresh start") i wanted to pick something really unusual. so i plucked an odd, seemingly random phrase from one of my favorite quotes (btw, the tick is quite possibly the all-time greatest source for bizarre quotes and phrases), and voila: "Faceful of Kitchen."

i love my new name.

Close but no waffle. Or was that cigar? :-?
1. Not Top Gun but Pensacola: Wings of Gold. I had to fill in a nickname when playing wingcommander prophecy and my brother picked 'Burner' so I was like "Oh, in that case ill pick Spoon". Without actually knowing what a Spoon was :P
Some years later when I entered t3h intrawebz I took that nick with me.
"dutch-land" (lol) doesn't make movies worth watching. :P
And no, I only recently learned what the Tick was, cause people kept yelling "Spoooooooooooon!" at me

I loved that game! I wasn't very good at it, but the characters were so much awesome.

Powersurge is a Super Hero i made up years ago, I always loved making up Super hero names when i was young, and Powersurge was my fave, I've even made up a load of stories bout him, never written them down, might do one day .

I also use the names Heatwave (another name i made up when i was young) and Dogbond (Dogbond was the name of a spy dog on a NZ radio story called Bob Bond, it was also our old dog's nick-name thanks to that show!)

I wanted the name of my favorite character, but I also wanted something original. So I started to think about how that particular character would disguise himself, and got this (very silly) mental image of him in thick novelty glasses and a fake moustache. Hence, I'm a Seeker in a Fake Moustache. :)

Insurgent is a military term for a person who infiltrates behind enemy lines to cause damage/rescue missions/whatever. They are usually well hidden until they strike. As I have a knack for lurking in the background and not getting noticed, giving people a real shock when I start talking from nowhere, I figured it was appropriate.

Same here, but the other way around: Shadowman was a username first, then a not-quite-made comic book character.

I still think about it. It's had numerous revisions, but the vast majority of it stems from the original Super Smash Bros.

It's a story many years in the making.

Despite what some have said, my username is not in any shape or form affiliated with genocide. :-P

I actually got the idea playing the game Grandia 2 (Ace game haven't played it? Play it.) In the Game, the Church Granas would lock down a town if there was believed to be an evil spirit of Valmar within it's midst. They [certain members of the church of Granas] would then "Purify" the town by burning the whole thing down, with all the citizens still inside thus (fingers crossed) getting rid of the "evil spirit of Valmar"

A little morbid and lame but I stuck with it.

Edit: Oh and just FYI my username is not capitalized. That's no mistake. I'm not that important
