Re: What else do you collect?
I’m mostly interested in collecting anime mecha-related stuff like gunplas, SoCs, and recently Super Miniplas.

Various anime figures and random robot stuff mostly, you can see a pretty large chunk of my collection over at MyFigureCollection.net. (The Transformers listed there are mostly just Japanese releases.) I also still have a pretty large anime collection and still occasionally buy stuff on physical media. Same goes for my game collection, I don't sell or trade games so I still have basically every game I've ever owned since the NES.
I've also found myself collecting interesting soda cans and bottles to decorate my kitchen. That's probably the most random thing I collect.

I collect shot glasses. I have an entire shelf area dedicated to them, and I have ones of all kinds: Star Wars, Transformers, destinations I've traveled to, chemistry ones, fraternity ones and more. it's a really fun hobby to have.
I also collected the Battle Force 5 Die Cast cars, and succeeded in getting all 7 of the main BF5 vehicles.
I also pick up the occasional Star Wars and Marvel figure.

Not (or trying not to) collecting much at the moment,
Other than transformers (masterpiece, encore and Prime wars/Takara Legends stuff for the most part):
Mastermade/Chibi Transformers, I love these things. Can't seem to find the macross SDF1 anywhere
. Certain kidslogic stuff fits well and with the price of most mastermades it's not often I add to the collection despite it being one of the smallest collections to complete.
Started to collect Gundam build divers, which then expanded to Ironblooded Orphans stuff -despite how the anime ends. I'd say IBO is more of my focus than build divers now.
He-man 200X, back when toys were toy priced, sighs. Classics are just too expensive and I'm missing a few regular retail figures (Teila, Panthor) and some of the statue/not figures -though it will probbaly be easier to buy classics versions. Making an exception for the movie style classics and snake mountain this year.
Funko Savage Land figures/Super7 Retro He-man, the funko stuff is almost toy priced toys and it's only selective ones that I think go well with the overpriced Retro Masters of the universe stuff. Optimus was riding Krypto the superdog for a bit and the batcave is going to be Hordaks makeshift lair if it turns up in stores/online here.
Batman Animated/Adventures/themed figures. I sold my 90's Kenner stuff off thinking I need the space and that the new stuff looks better. The newer stuff arrived in discount shops, so my collection now takes up a lot more room than the old stuff ever did! Doh.
Collections that I have and hoping to get more of at some point but never seems to have the time or money, WOTC D&D minis, Guyver models/figures, Zoids (chaos century era) and Amiibos. Dread to think of how many years of dust are on my amiibos.
The target exclusives 80's tmnt figures are on my want list too, mainly for the villains as I have the S.H turtles. Movie figures will have to wait until cheaper or more available.

I lowkey collect 3 3/4" Star Wars stuff, but not with any active effort anymore.
I also collect Thomas the Tank Engine wooden trains (and to a lesser degree, the old Tomy and ERTL stuff), and electric model trains. Also model trains in general.
I collect My Little Pony as well, with my mane focus being on G1 (Dream Castle has pride of place on my dresser next to TR Fort Max). G4 and G3 are lesser focuses, and G2 is something I haven't actively pursued yet (although I do have a G2 I picked up at a yard sale).
Then there's Power Rangers/Super Sentai stuff. I have the complete Dinozord, Thunderzord, Ninjazord, Shogunzord, and Super Zeozord sets, minus some accessories (and 3 Shogunzord arms), and three of the five Rescuezords from Power Rangers Turbo. Last year I bought DX Engine-Oh, and upgraded from the PRSS Zords to the Shinkenger DX versions. That's just Zords. I also have 4", 5", and 8" Ranger action figures, including a
Another thing I collect is Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha: StrikerS Figmas. Have most of them. Wish they'd do Zafira.

As much as I do love robots in general. £269.95 is too steep for a one-off. RX does look great though.

Re: What else do you collect?
Aside from Transformers, I collect LEGO constraction figures. Specifically their own IPs like BIONICLE, Hero Factory and Exo-Force (which means I haven't found anything new since 2016. Maybe next year).
Another collection I have, but am not doing anymore, is a Brazillian kids magazine called Recreio and its edutainment gift collections (my favorite were the first RockAnimal and Missão Totem). Unfortunately, the later editions began to decline in quality until I eventually cancelled the subscription in 2013; five years later they cancelled the entire magazine and only rebooted it last year exclusively as a website.

So as a kid I had MotU and Transformers. In my 20s I expanded to MotU 2002 and Gundam (Bandai action figures from 2000-2003) also Godzilla Bandai vinyl figures and some Ultraman. I've since sold all of that between 2006-2007 because unfortunately I needed money at the time.
I thought I'd never get back into Toys, but as my son grew older, and he got occasional Transformers from Animated and the live action series I was drawn back in.
I started with Transformers Kreo/Kreons in 2011 then got back into Transformers proper in 2016 at the tail end of Combiner Wars.
I've always wanted to get back into MotU and Godzilla, but I don't have space. I recently found one solution though.
Super7 just started a line of ReAction Godzilla toys. These are inexpensive and small, and scratch that itch perfectly. Funny enough, the ReAction MotU dosen't have the same appeal for me. I love the idea of the Origins line, but again, I don't have the space

It definitely seems more fitting to stick the Mastermold head on the (overpriced) Sentinel. The BAF Sentinel (albeit, not cheap) would be well scaled companion pieces.

For all those asking, how much would a playset cost in the modern collectors lines? Super7 have taken notice...

Funko should have done a cats lair for their savage lands thundercats, like their batcave, would have been way more cheaper. Even at S7s price £725 here, this playset has flaws and isnt big enough for the thundertank.
One of the funding goals should be to include furniture etc for the reaction figures.
I'd actually be tempted to get it for the 200x thundercats figures I have sitting around in a box from disappointment of yet another good cartoon/toyline dying too early. The lair has reminded me to try work out what/if I was missing from that line though.
And at least super7 have receieved some additional funding when it looked like they might be having a hard time financially.

£725 for (bare bones) Cats Lair makes me very nervous how much Neca would charge for a Technodrome. Although Neca would be far more generous with accessories than S7 have demonstrated with the Thunder Tank and this playset.
...HasLab would probably ask for the price of the average mortgage for a modern USS Flagg or Terror Drome.

New job aquired/pending, cats lair...still not aquired, but having money again will help
I've just been working out what I'm collecting/possibly uncollecting and the list of collecting only got bigger so gonna have to not even think about thundercats.
