I was actually thinking about downsizing myself recently. The Storm Collectibles Mortal Kombat Kharacters are staying. Although I was thinking about shedding two that I haven't got out of their boxes yet (Kung Lao and Reptile). Note: I have quite a bit of my collection still in boxes. But those two were kind of impulse buys and Reptile is the 2.0 Masked Ninja version. Not the Deadly Alliance design that I prefer. Kung Lao.. they really dropped the ball on.
The Defenders of the Earth and Transformers City Bot displays I'm unsure on though. I think I'll keep hold of my New Adventures Space Mutants and TMNT Krang, Chromedome and Shredders for now.

Had the original EWJ figures back in the day, they were perfectly good enough (and likely under a fiver!) might still have one lying around because he's such a groovy guy. I'll be skipping those.
Also I guess I'm skipping the gerry anderson figure collection
, wave 2 had an exclusive captain scarlet figure if preordering through the toy manufacturer directly...something I never got around to do....thankfully, they've gone bust
One less thing to collect unless maybe playmobil or s7 to show Captain Scarlet some loving.
Also I guess I'm skipping the gerry anderson figure collection

Always had a soft spot for EWJ. Especially the cartoon (Dan Castellaneta best role, you heard me!). Weirdly enough, I completely missed the original toyline. Considering this a relatively small roster of characters. Releasing four in the first wave is tempting to me
The Cow, Princess What's Her Name, Pete Puppy (and alter ego), Evil The Cat, Snott and Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-Filled, Malformed Slug for a Butt.
That's it for the show characters. A redeco/retool in Evil Jim and a couple secondary villain designs from the games. Four characters each, that's the entire line in two to three waves.
Never really took to the Anderson puppet shows. Aside from Captain Scarlet. It had a tone (and villains) that really appealed to me.

Super7 has announced the Cobra Mothership in their ReActions line. This got me thinking. Do you think this is the (more affordable) future for vehicles?
Instead of the more expensive Classics Castle Greyskull, Snake Mountain, Cats Lair, Thundertank etc A downsized representation is more preferable?
There are still some big playsets that haven't been updated for modern collectors lines: The Technodrome, Starship Eternia, Nordor etc, etc Potentially eye-watering price tags attached to each also.

Nah, because vehicles have to fit the figures or should and can be done at the correct price point depending on reasons, whatever they may be (look at the movie batmobile that isnt two seater when it should be and on the same hand the 1966 batmobile) or even better examples is the toon tmnt van -a walmart reisue £ (or ££) over here), the Neca version £££ the super7 version £££££ yet. It's not usually the scale or size of the figures that makes the price the problem.
Problem with most vehicles and playsets is underscaled (even cats lair is unfit for reaction, the not even big enough to be a berbil flap below the big door has meant to be a door). Second problem is vehicles/playsets aimed at smaller figures arent always cheaper, look at gullwing etc.
The Cobra thing just makes me want a V saucer, im sure the price of it will be just as eye watering as super7s other stuff like the worlds most expensive tmnt van.

I shudder to think at the mark-up for a Neca "toon accurate" Technodrome, let alone what Super7 would charge for their "toy accurate" version.
But take GI Joe's USS Flagg. That would be too expensive to reproduce in scale for the Classified Line. Even perhaps for HasLab?
Nordor is arguably the "Castle Greyskull" of the NA line. Now, probably too obscure for an in-scale update to be viable.
In a similar way, I'd love to see a Dinoriders revival. But 6" scaled. Which would make the larger Dinosaurs insanely priced.
Ramen Toys are currently starting up a Bravestarr 3P line. However the original toyline featured New Texas as interconnected playsets. Time will tell if Ramen can go afford to go that far.

I don't know if I'd call it the future of vehicles, but I could see it as the future of vehicles that Hasbro or however wouldn't make themselves. This technically isn't their first G.I.Joe vehicle if you count the dog sled, but certainly will be their most expensive.
I wish this was how we got our G1 retro Unicron, but Hasbro would never allow one that transformed. Maybe they could do a Super Cyborg version.

I was thinking of G1 Unicron in this too. ReActions being the release that Hasbro were happy with.

It's extremely rare for me to cancel a preorder and this one certainly broke my heart. But reviews and word of mouth have been utterly scathing of these releases. Seeing their Dragonball releases, I thought quite highly of SHFiguarts until now.
