I feel fortunate to have a mint diaclone release of this figure, The TF release I saw on Ebay a few years back was getting up around $1500 IIRC and it was opened.
Yes I thought about Browning as well, I would expect him to be pretty high up on the list for sure.
This depends on which Browning figure were referring to.
The only really rare Takara Browning figures are the one made & liscensed by Takara. The masterforce 1988 Browing figure is super rare & super exspensive in MISB Perfect condition. The Original Microman/change Takara liscensed Browning figure is super rare & exspensive in MISB condition.
I Honestly wouldn't rate nor consider the various Bootlegs/KO versions of Browning rare nor valuable. because their not liscensed by takara. some have english & japanese words written on the box. some call the toy microman then proceed to call the toy something else KO a few words later like "Kingdam" or "Robo-man."
Sadly some people who own the KO/Bootleg versions of Robo-man & Kingdam don't do the proper research. and they think they actually own a liscensed Takara TF toy. or for some strange reason they think around 1983 Takara sold some liscensed TF toys to various american retail stores in america under the permission liscensed robo-man & kingdam toy lines. a year or 2 before Takara met hasbro & signed the USA rights to sell transformers toys in america to Hasbro exclusively.
If the majority of the words on your BROWNING toy box & instructions consist of 80%+ english. with a few japanese symbols thrown in. and it says Robo-man or kingdam or? then you've got a KO Unliscensed bootleg version of Browning & not the real liscensed Takara toy.
FWIW,About 10 years ago, their were literally hundreds upon hundreds of Robo-man/kindam Browing auctions all over ebay comming from hong kong sellers. I don't know if their was a huge wharehouse find or something.
But I remember paying $40 for my KO Browning Robo-man/kingdam toy in C-10 mint un-used perfect collectors type graded condition.
I honestly don't consider opened boxes TF toys with thrashed under C-6 toys inside worth anything in my eyes. IMHO,Your no longer buying a collectors item,IMHO,your just buying someone elses thrash.
