Blaster made a cameo beside Tracks in Stormbringer, on the control centre of Prime's ship. Forget which page/issue though.

It's true. I don't remember Tracks but I do recall seeing Blaster.
Wheelie could be done well, I think. His "survivalist" function could make an interesting story, even spotlight.

Stormbringer was fantastic. It's this whole tale about Thunderwing working on the development of the Pretender technology that is outlawed by Megatron but he does it anyway, and then becomes wildly insane and more or less an unstoppable engine of devastation. It's awesome. And a bunch of non-usual TFs ended up in it, like the Decepticon pretenders and the Technobots and I think Dogfight and a Throttlebot or two.

Cool! I read the Transformers G1 series Devstation! Do u think the stories overall are better then Dreamwave's? I loved Dreamwaves artwork and hope they will be part of IDW!

Do you mean Infaltration or Escalation? Devestation isn't out till fall.
As for quality, I liked Dreamwave's issues a lot, and thoght the storyline was cool(G1 anyway, never read the other), but it's hard to compare the two, cause DW was never finished. One thing DW did have though was a bunch of great cameos and easter eggs in nearly every issue in the former ongoing.
IDW is cool too, and I enjoy the new spin on things. Still, the breaks between series are annoying, and it is a tad slow. Plus, they use big panels and there's not much content sometimes because of that. But I suppose it's no different from other comics. Dreamwave tended to use smaller panels and pack in more content in my opinion.
And if you haven't read it, Beast Wars is very cool if your a fan of the show.
Finally, I wish for the day Guiltor(check my sig) becomes more than just a one shot character. It won't happen, but you never know.
Duke of Luns wrote:Don't know when the break between arcs will end, but I do remember reading why it happens. Apparently, "limited series" stuff sells to comic shops better than ongoing. But technically Stormbringer #1 was the unnofficial #7, so I guess these other limited series fill the void.
Not sure about the "Megatron Origin" thing though, and I might wait till the trade paperback for it.

Insurgent wrote:Tracks appeared directly beside Blaster in the same scene. (I assume it was Tracks. Blue, wings on shoulders, two missle/gun things above his head. Looked like him). It was the scene where Spotlight first goes to deliver the message from Prowl to Prime. Blaster is sitting in teh background and Tracks is standing beside him. I also noticed Huffer walking about in one scene later one (those arms are unmistakable).
Trypticon also made a cameo in a flashback to the first fight against Thunderwing. Omega Supreme was in it as well. So cityformers have appeared, though very briefly.
Wheelie spotlights would sell great. There would be funeral pyres across the globe.
I think the break between storyarc thing is to give the artists and colourists time to have a break while a miniarc is going. Only going for paperbacks now, so its even longer to wait for me. But worth it in the long run.
I doubt they will stop it. But I think it's a good idea. Gives you a break from the same characters.
