I was browsing the dutch version of Hasbro`s transformers site and came across a "Transformers Robot Fighters" set. is this a new item or did we know of it and if so, what the heck is the idea behind this? link

You know that old game "Rockem Sockem Robots"? Yeah, this is an updated version with Optimus and Megatron as the figures.

From the looks of the picture, it appears that it is Optimus fighting Sauron from Lord of the Rings.

IMO, Megatron looks like C3-PO

All the same, I always wanted rockem sockem robots. This version will do fine.

it is not rockem sockem robots similar but not there were toys in mid 90s called karate fighters u twist a knob on the end while one fot is connected to the base all the others flail around trying to hit the other in the chest depending on ur handicap or health count is how many times it takes to get chest hits before ur guy becomes a flailing projectile and now with sharp angles megs god i see recall comming but over its kinda fun flailing about wildly at the turn of a knob ill see if i can find any of the karate fighters things for yashttp://cgi.ebay.com/Electronic-Karate-Fighters-Milton-Bradley-combat-toy_W0QQitemZ320112311751QQihZ011QQcategoryZ232QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Hahahaha! Ive been saying that that set is just a remold! I havent seen that game in years! I had the original and me and my brother broke it in about a week!
