wow - I expected a lot more Beast Wars or Armada answers.

Brings back memories. My firsts we go-bots - Cop-tur and Leader 1. Christmas of 84 I got Thundercracker and a slew of mini-bots. Then, eventually, came Soundwave, Megatron, Defensor, Metroplex, and Grimlock. Didn't get an Optimus Prime until I was about 27 years old!

the first TF I remember playing with was my brother's Powermaster Optimus Prime.

MY first TF was G2 Grimlock. I bought him myself from Brendel's, and I still have him. No weapons, but his chrome is still pretty good.

well, due to my young age, I don't really have any nostalgia, but my first transformer was 1-2-3 Transformers Rescue Roy. I was about three. Later, when I was four, I got Armada Unicron. I thought is was cool, so thats when I started watching the cartoon.. which was the ending of Armada for me...

The original Megatron was my first Transformers toy. It's pretty amazing when you think about it; a very realistic looking firearm, made of die-cast metal, being sold to kids...different times indeed!

I picked up Hubcap from a yard sale when I was too young to fully remember. I still have him somewhere. I have had a soft spot since for that oft forgotten Minibot...

my first transformer ever was beast wars quickstrike. i got him when i was 7 in 1999. as a result my love for transformers began! just a quick question, those of you who own g1 toys, how does it feel? i mean because im only 18 the closest i'll ever get to g1 is by buying reissues or the classics/generations line. but you all have the originals, you guys are pretty lucky. i would kill for a g1 prime.

Pretty much all of my old G1 figures feel..........floppy :sad:

I have a great many G1 Micromasters. Most are mint, but some have seen some damage, and I do have a G1 Jazz that must stay in vehicle mode else he fall in two pieces. My G1 Air Raid and G2 Hooligan are both fairly solid, but my Constructicons are getting floppy.

I bought a lot of toys when I was around 4 or 5. I don't remember them, they just seem familiar. Most of them were utterly destroyed. Most things bigger then a scout ended up destroyed by a little kid's hands. The first Transformer I have an awareness of buying is Cybertron Shortround. I got him for around 50 U.S dollars in a toy store in a small third-world country in 2006. I remember almost getting Backstop instead. Thank god that didn't happen.

My first official TF was G1 Megatron, but before him I had the Diakron blue version of the Trailbreaker mold.

Actually, I had the Diakron red version of Sunstreaker's mold before the blue Trailbreaker, but thought it was defective and took it back. Later I had two different official G1 Sunstreakers and both had the same issues I had with that one, so I guess it wasn't actually defective.

the first toy I had was Octane given to me by my uncle Kris
though I never knew what the toy's name was until I was about eight four years after I lost it at Mcdonalds

but the first one I remembered has been my favourite for all these years and that was Starscream I knew who he was when I was two the first episode I saw was More than meets the eye part 1
starscream to this day is my favourite and I don't think that will ever change

My first transforming toy was Go-Bot Res-Q and he's gone forever.

First transformer I got was G1 Trailbreaker for Christmas 1984 from my uncle's then gf. I still have it even though severely war damaged.

HAHA!! too funny. I've got almost the exact same story but i was making dinosaurs out of mud and clay from the construction site across from my house.
THen i begged and pleaded for a Grimlock and finally got him. He never left my side.
Eventually he did though cause i certainly don't have him any longer. He was my first TF
