mine was G1 Hound.

I had so much cool G1 nstuff(euro stuff like Overlord and Turbomasters)that ended up getting sent to good will by mistake..... :BANG_HEAD:

I bought Overlord again but the Turbomasters?nigh impossible.

I'm not that old just 14 but my 27 year old brother had him back in the 80's so I stole it from him.

Wow. A really nostalgic flurry of memories comes rushing back. My very first Transformer... I was 5 years old. My mother was doing some shopping at Target. She told me if I was good that she would buy me a toy before we left. We walked to the "boy" aisle. There were a freshly displayed rack of Transformers right next to a similarly spectacular display of GIJOEs. The shelves seemed 15 feet tall to a 3 foot kid. My mother looked at me and gave me specific instructions: You can pick one or the other, but whatever you choose, that will be what you have to stick with. I looked back and forth at the two toy lines. With Transformers, I got two toys in one and with GIJOE, I just got a toy (a cool toy, but just one). I chose a Generation 1 Bumblebee for my very first toy. I cut the pictures out of the packaging, the tech spec, and the points. I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen.

My second figure is a very touching story as well. My grandfather (now since passed away) told me he needed to go to Service Merchandise to get some "tools." He and my grandmother often teased me that they didn't like Transformers because they were "scary robots." My grandfather walked me to the toy aisle and said, "Well, pick out one of those boogers!" I was shocked! I selected Motormaster for my second toy. I didn't realized until years later, he had never bought any tools. He took me there JUST to buy me that toy.

My third and last story is short. I saved up my own money to buy my own Transformer. After weeks of chores, I had around $9 and my mother took me to Target and I bought Skywarp out of all that were displayed. He had the coolest colors and vehicle mode in my price range.

I lost track of which and when I got them after that, but those are by far my fondest Transformers memories. I still have strong attachments for those three figures. I remember getting Optimus, Omega Supreme, and Trypticon for birthdays as well. OH, and the Devastator gift set with all 6 figures in one box for my tenth birthday. Transformers has had a tremendous impact on my childhood as well as my career. I first got interested in voice acting because of Transformers.

My first transformer was beast wars terrorsaur when I was in fifth grade. I thought it was so cool lol I took it school all the time. I then started watching beast wars (as the first series I ever watched) and collected a lot of them. I still have seven of them however I'm missing about the same amount. I still have Optimal Optimus, Rampage, Depth Charge, Tigerhawk, Tigertron, Cheetor transmetal 2, and airazor transmetal 1. I am missing terrorsaur, Optimal Optimus transmetal 1, Cyber Shark, Transmetal 1 Megatron, the owl transmetal 1, Dinobot transmetal 2, and Transmetal 1 rattrap. So sad I wish I still had all of them.

Yeah, wished I had hung onto my BW stuff too. Had no clue they would be worth so much later on. I used to take some of my G1 stuff to school to show off. Unfortunately, I got made fun of/beat up for liking Transformers more than He-Man.

Hmm... The first Transformer I actually owned was RiD Wedge, but I always played with my uncle's old G1 figures (Beachcomber sticks out in my mind the most) when I was just a wee little lad, and I kinda considered them to be mine until he moved out of my grandparents' and took them with him...

Annoyingly I can't say because the first time I got a transformer was at a garage sale when I was five and it was a big ol' tub of G1 toys. Thus because I was so young and because it was a big ol' tub I cant remember who was in it save G1 soundwave.

Mine was Rachet in 1984. Even at 11 I quickly grew to regret that decision. Such a terrible toy.

Mine was Movie 1 Bumblebee/Movie 1 Blackout (which mine was broken immeadiatly, the rear rotor basket wouldn't turn around and it broke) I got it in Florida at a target in Cape Coral yes i know very specific and your probably on to the next post by know :BANG_HEAD:

G1 Bumblebee I got at a yard sale about 8 years ago xD

1st TF I bought with great enthusiasm was probably Optimus from the 1st Live Action movie. I grew up with Beast Wars, but it wasn't until the movie that I really started buying toys. Lol... I blame Qrio. I've liked Transformers for many years, but I fell in love with the concept of robotics because of that little Sony 'bot. Took my liking of Transformers into "love". Haha. Doesn't help the shows (sometimes) have great stories.

My first transformer was a Mega Morphers Night Attack Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story Transformers line. He was huge hard and sweet. I no longer possess him and hate the son of a bitch that got rid of him.

My first TF was either the Insecticon Bombshell or the Japanese Reflector set (which my jerkhole neighbor stole from me). If I ever go back to his place, I'm going to burn it to the ground.
