Evening folks!

Now that I am the proud owner of ROTF Leader Prime -drool- I'm looking to repaint/customise and sell my Movie 1 Leader Class Optimus.

Thing is, I'm at a total loss as to what to do with him.. I'm looking for any and all suggestions as to what the people out there would like to see Movie 1 Prime repainted as. I've included some of my own ideas so far in the poll above but if you have an idea of your own feel free to share!!

I would prefer to try something that hasn't been done already but all ideas and suggestions are welcome!!

Motormaster

Shattered Glass movie Prime?
Similar to Nemesis Prime, but add in the purple and he'll look different from the thousand other Black repaints we can expect.

Is it Bladimus or Cannonimus Prime? (Premium with swords or basic release)

I had considered that Heckfire, only thing is, if I did do Motormaster.. I would want to do the rest of his team to Which of course would be awesome.. but would take a VERY long time, and alot of money that I really dont have.

That, Justicity, is a good idea!! One I hadnt thought of myself.. Nemesis Prime is cool and all, but as you said, it has been done.. alot..

Oh, and its a basic cannon version

If you're looking for other out there ideas how about the Beast era Primes? I don't know how well he'd look in their colours but Big & Leo Convoy or Optimus Primal would be interesting to see.
Primal would probably look best in his transmetal colours though.
There are better molds out there for them but this could be interesting.

Some of the Beast Era Primes/Primals could work.. I think I saw something along those lines done on a Leader Class Cyberton Prime over on TFW2005's Radicons section.

If anyone out there fancies having a go at throwing together some digi-bashes for me it would be appreciated!! (as I both lack photoshop and the skills to use it)

I've mentioned this poll on my DeviantART and YouTube Channel pages.. so far it seems that the most popular choices are Nova Prime and Shattered Glass Prime. Personally the more I think about it the more I like the idea of a Shattered Glass Movie Optimus, but I'm still open to suggestions!!

I really like the '07 prime figure, and I find repaint possibilities more often in toys I like XD Hence Gene "Lockdown" Simmons, which I WILL eventually post XD

I know what you mean about seeing the repaint possibilities in toys you like. I absolutely love the Cybertron Leader Prime mold.. for a while now I've wanted to try and heavily modify it and Wing Sabre into some form of GaoGaiGar styled custom. I have alot of ideas in my head already, its just finding the time, parts and money to pull it all together!

I'm a little late to this thread and you've probably alread started. If I had a dollar for every Nemesis Prime I see customed, I'd be a rich man. Ultra Magnus is just as cliche. I would like to see Prime look like this:



That would be a cool character. I'd call him Maxxis Prime. (Maxxis is a heavy duty tire company. But it sounds like a robot name too, so I guess in a way it's also a pun.) So there's my imput. If you can pull something off like that, it would be the best Prime repaint yet.

I'm late to the party as well but if you're still taking suggestions, zero-kaiser, I'll throw in my vote for Diaclone Powered Convoy. I think those colours could work well with the movie style OP. The darker colour scheme would be a nice change. Metallic dark blue, black, metallic grey, and gold or brass in place of DPC's yellow.

I've been running this same sort of poll/suggestion input over on my DeviantART Page and YouTube Channel, and between those two and here I have come to a conclusion!!

The suggestion that A, grabbed my attention the most, and B, have the most votes/discussion between here, YouTube and DA, was none other than, Shattered Glass Optimus Prime!

I've base coated the figure black for now so that it can cure over night and I can make a start in the morning I'm going to make a separate thread for the custom itself, but I'll be sure to add a link for anyone who wants to follow its progress!
