I want to see some more Rehashed characters (ones that have nothing in common with their namesakes except for their names like blackout)
as for established characters: Shockwave,Thundercracker and Astrotrain also Wreckage and Landmine from the toyline maybe Hound and Skylynx thats it
on my wish list anything BUT the constucticons and dinobots and NO hotrod, hes the MGS Raiden of the transformers

Yes, absolutely! In the comic that came with the DVD, it shows him being his manipulative, double-crossing little b*tch of a self. (And I love him for it! IMO he was the best of the Decepticons.) But in the movie, did he have any other lines besides, "I live to serve you, Lord Megatron" and "The humans have taken it"? Not exactly a fabulous showcase of his very awesome personality.

Anyway, the most feasible idea would be bringing Jazz back, perhaps introducing Arcee, and maybe incorporating Wheeljack and Cliffjumper.

Personally, I would love to see Mirage. Michael Bay wants an aircraft carrier in the next film. This could be Jetfire.

As for the Decepticons, incorporating the other Seekers makes sense with Skywarp as a stealth fighter possibly. Not sure what type of jet Thundercracker could be. And of course, you'd have the more obvious choices: Soundwave (with Rumble, Ravage, and Laserbeak) and Shockwave. Maybe Astrotrain.

I don't think the Dinobots would be appropriate until the third movie (right along with Devastator). You want to build up the film series gradually. You don't want this to turn into another Spiderman 3 where everything is crammed in.

Jazz - HE'S DEAD! Drop it would you guys.
Arcee - how do you explain to fans the existence of a "female" in a race that doesn't need gender without confusing the hell out of the little kids?
Wheeljack - maybe a character of the same name, but not a huge homage to G1 Wheeljack.
Clifjumper - Blah! No, they already have the Allspark line Bumblebee repaint, if they bring him into the movie he'll just be a BB copy.

How could Jetfire (who is usually a plane) be an aircraft carrier, a huge ship? Mirage would be nice, or some race car type transformer.

Mmmmmm, Soundwave if they can do it right. Shockwave would be nice, as for Astrotrain... well, you do know a train is several times smaller than a space shuttle... How would they do that in the size-changing-free movieverse?

Nice comparison! I agree wholeheartedly, don't try to cram every homage possible in. As for the Dino's & Constructicons, I think they're too big as a whole group, but one Dinobot, or a combiner thats one huge bot, not a group of small bots, would be cool. Think Armada TidalWave as opposed to G1 combiners.

Well, I've read about the possibility of Jazz being brought back. And it fits in nicely with that piece of Allspark Prime swiped.

Mirage and Wheeljack would work. And I thought of Cliffjumper being in the sequel (before the BB repaint came out) as a sporty hatchback.

I don't think Arcee would be that bad (for a sequel). I definitely didn't want her over Ironhide in the first movie. It really depends how they do her. The design is cool, but I'm talking in terms of character. Ideally, I'm thinking of an Autobot version of Nightbird.

Jetfire was huge in G1. In the show, he carried several autobots at once so the aircraft carrier idea works since he doubled as a transport vehicle for them. And it could fit with what Michael Bay is looking to do.

As for Astrotrain, it'd be cool but I did put a "maybe" next to his name after all.

I forgot, Wreckage in military deco would be nice.

Actually, I thought that Starscream was awesome in the movie, I liked him very much (very bird like the way they made him move).

But I do agree that Starscream and Megatron should have had more of a presence in the movie showing their personnalities more.

But I think it was a calculated move on the part of Bay and Paramount because they didn't want to push it in the first movie (on the budget side and on story side for Decepticon). I think they still prefered going in it with less than more. People still have to think about the ton of people out there who don't know about G1 transformers and all of the history between the caracters. Yeah, maybe 25-30% of the audience was made of diehard 80's fan that know all of this, but there's a lot more people who didn't know anything about it.

So I think that a lot more things are going to be covered in the next one. I'm pretty sure we're going to see Soundwave, more of Starscream and maybe we'll see there the battle between Soundwave and Starscream for the idea of bringing back Megatron or not (With Soundwave wanting to and Starscream not to).

I hope they also see more of Autobots versus Decepticon since it has been so well adopted by the new fans who will want to see more.

I cant stand hotrod. The only thing worse is Kup or Wheelie. Hot rod isnt an "original" TF. He didnt appear till much later, in the movie. And I pray they dont put him anywhere near the new movies.

And Ultra magnus as a car carrier would be bad ass.
Arcee would be cool, she would be a more human sized TF.

Mirage as a ford GT would be sweet!

I really think the autobots need some variety though. A helicopter or something besides cars and trucks.

It is to early to introduce unicron when the decipticons are in such a disarray this would be a prelude to unicron also since the Allspark is now destroyed the Autobots are now searching for the legendary matrix of leadership to revitalize cyberton until Galvatron shows up and all hell breaks loose. Then while both partys are busy with each other Unicron is lurking in the background think ID4 Style but much much cooler. And please dont pull a FF4 2 and make it a huge clould or some otherwordly form.

I definitely don't want to see Blur, Wheelie, Kup, or Arcee...
Those characters will rely too much on their "personalities", and just open too many cheesy doors.
And I don't want Ultra Magnus or Hotrod either.
I think they're lame.

I want some old school peeps like Sideswipe, Prowl, Mirage, Inferno. Maybe Springer.
Oh, and Jetfire.
As someone kinda started saying before, there should be a couple of sweet dogfights in the air.
Have Starscream, Thundercracker, and Blitzwing beatin' up on Jetfire and Springer, and then have Omega Supreme come in.
I don't know... I just hope there's some surprisingly awesome action sequences.
And I don't see this happening if we see any of those first 4 characters I mentioned.

Bay already said he's pretty much done doing car chases.
But with so many potential vehicles in the movie, I think he needs to put in more hand to hand fights/battles.

Yeah I agree... BUT, I think the idea (right or wrong) is that those (drawn-out) scenes with the people actually build-up anticipation for seeing the bots and make the action scenes more exciting (??).

I think I'd want to see JUST the bots in the next movie,
but there has to be a little bit of "down time".

You'd assume that this next movie will have more bots and more scenes with them as the focal point.

It should........it better be! I mean the movie is named Transformers and it should focus 90% of movie on them with human interaction.

I say put Wheeljack, Acree, and Prowl back in the lineup. These three were in the original lineup but got pulled for a few reasons.

1) Writers wanted Barricade over Prowl
2) Acree--they did not know where to put her
3) Wheeljack--I am not sure why he was pulled
