no trypy love? but... he's a city.. thats turns into a godzilla like robot... that can crush other cities!

Just a few things to note. Firstly, the Unicron mold was from Armada. Hard to believe such a great thing came from that line, but its the truth. Also, while I wished Trypticon did turn into a robot in a third mode (like Scorponok and Overlord who also have base modes), it is interesting that he doesnt have a new mold of his own since G1. I think only he and Fort Max are left in terms of G1 toys released in North America. Omega Supreme And Scorponok both got updated toys in Energon and Metroplex got 2 new molds since G1 (Cybertron and Generations). But all trypticon ever got was a small redeco of Flame Convoy. However, like with Fortmax it seems a rerelease of his G1 toy is pretty much all we'll be getting for the foreseable future.

1986 Cyclonus and 1986 Scourge

1987 Apeface and snapdragon that are triple changers with the headmasters feature.

1988 Quickswitch.

1996 Beast Wars Tigatron

Beast Wars Second Lio Convoy

Galvatron. Either the 1986 G-1 Version or the newer 2015 IDW Galvatron comics arts designs.

Sixshot.

Titan,
Trypticon, Either the 1986 or WFC-FOC versions.

Totally ageee with Trypticon and Scourge, providing it is the '86 version. On the topic of city bots, I'd kind of like to see the return of base modes with figs. Having special team leaders connect to Metroplex and Trypticon was awesome. Even PM Prime had one. Bring 'em back!

william-james88 wrote:You never know if Hasbro is looking at these boards. But even if they aren't I am curious as to what you guys want next in the GHUG line.

The rules so far seem to be that they will redo characters if they are from a different fiction or a different scale or functionality (this Voyager Silverbolt can combine, for instance, and this powerglide is now a legion class). But for the most part, it's always more fun to think of new characters that were not released in any of the CHUG lines.

You might laugh at me, but one character that was never given a decent toy, to me, was Beast Machines Silverbolt. It's an interesting design and it would be really cool to see what they could do with it now. So, I would love to see a Generations Beast Machines Silverbolt. A Voyager Beast Wars Dinobot too, but that's more for the toy you know hasbro will never make thread.

That redesign always annoyed me, it frustrated me he went from being SILVER to purple! WTF??? In Mexico it was worse, Silverbolt's name was translated as "Lobo Plateado", so the chivalrous SILVER WOLF became the brooding PURPLE CONDOR :BANG_HEAD:

Here's an off the wall idea.

A series of bots, maybe half the height of Metroplex, that transform into city components, and combine with each other for bigger cities/bases whatever for Legends class figures. Have a few core bodies types, interchangeable limbs so no two not or base is the same...

It's a dream, I'll just go back to sleep

That sounds like a great idea. I would actually like Metroplex sized combiners so we can have life sized Transformers

You are in luck because they already exist and in the size you want and in great deco too:

The only one missing is seaspray in that size class.

The only figures I'd really like from Generations at this point are more Beast Wars updates that are to the same level of quality and show accuracy as last year's Waspinator, Rhinox and Rattrap. I would ideally like new figures of Tigatron, Airazor and Blackarachnia, as well as an updated Cheetor that's better than the Universe Deluxe. The Windblade comic introducing a planet of Beast Bots later this year has given me new hope that these Beast Wars updates will happen within the next few years.

Not only that, but I feel that none of the 3rd parties get the beasts right. They never exude as much power as they did in the nice bulky G1 toys. By making them sleeker, they look more frail.

I agree, though I've heard a lot of people say Dinobot needs to be Voyager-sized because he was tall in the show, I'd be fine with another Deluxe because real Velociraptors weren't very big. The Henkei version does look like a really good figure, but its rarity and second-hand price puts me off looking for one.
