Besides those 6, which of the other 15 would you get and why?

To start off with, I haven't and wouldn't pick up the Optimus Prime one. It's not a bad toy but it's not really for me. Plus, his detachable hands annoy me (as do the Seekers' hands - but I did buy the Seekers). I also have no intention of buying G1 Megatron or Soundblaster (I have TRU Soundwave so why bother?).

I did buy Hound because he's a nice, sturdy, quality little toy and relatively show accurate (he didn't lose a lot in translation to animation). His alt.mode is nicely done with lots of little accessories and attention to detail. He's easily my favourite G1 Takara reissue.

I also bought Tracks but if I'd known Hasbro would release him a spell later I might not have bothered. Blitzwing is sweet (though my gun turret keeps falling off!) and I think the Insecticons are a nice little set.

I think the Predacon giftset is a great little package and one I hope to acquire some day.

God Ginrai is a fantastic toy but a) I didn't know there was a Japanese reissue and b) the Hasbro Powermaster Prime reissue must be easier and cheaper to get hold of.

Galvatron is another great toy but his reissue colour is a little too pastel pink to be show accurate. Not that that should put you off particularly, just my opinion FYI. I like the original toy (one of my favourites, albeit more for nostalgia) and if you don't have any G1 Galvatrons then I'd say you may as well plump for the reissue (even though I didn't). The reissue has a remolded face, more show-accurate colours and more sound effects. Plus, his eyes light up red instead of the original toy's yellow.

Starscream's Takara reissue comes in cartoon-accurate colours, which to my mind aren't as appealing as the original (and the Hasbro reissue) but he does come with a little Megatron gun and remolded hands to hold said accessory. Also, his faction symbols are tampographed rather than stickers, which means they won't peel off. I suppose buying the Starscream one really depends on whether you want a more cartoon-accurate toy but I prefer the Hasbro version.

Also, the Minibot set is good. Takara have obviously attempted to collect five of the more diverse Minibot molds, plus Bumblebee comes with a remolded face that is more comic and cartoon-accurate than his original toy. Buying this set really depends on whether you want the characters and / or whether you are fussed about cartoon-accuracy.

I have Hot Rod and Sideswipe but I want TRU Soundwave, Hound, Blitzwing, Tracks,and Six Shot

I already have StarScream, Optimus, Sideswipe, Megatron, Soundwave, Laserbeak, Targetmaster Hot Rod, Astrotrain and the 3 Insecticons.

So the ones I want are Sixshot, PM Prime, and Predaking.

ah.. though i don't have any yet, a Perceptor would be sweet.

He got very heavy release in Japan. Too heavy, in fact.

Well thank heavens for a heavy release in japan. Because it ment that I could finally own him at a reasonable price since both release are basicly the same with only a few differences.

prime, soundwave, starscream, insecticons, and sidesswipe are the ones i want now but of course they're the most difficult to find and the most expensive. by the way, why is sideswipe so hard to find? i don't get it.

I guess he was a popular character, I know i liked him especially compared to sunstreaker. didn't much care for sunstreaker.

Hotrod
I own the hasbro reissue but he was my fav character as a kid so he's in.

Insecticons
I liked the three insecticons and a package that has all 3 in 1 is worth it.

Sideswipe
I already own the TFC sideswipe but due to its rarity I found myself unable to take it out of its box...damn

Perceptor
looks awesome, I don't own one images i've seen make it look very nice.

Blaster
I like the cassette players and going on images i've seen this figure looks nice and is also big (I think)

I'd like to get my hands on Starscream, Blitzwing, the minibots, the Insecticons, and Megatron.

I ordered a Megatron from a seller on ebay back in April. They "lost it in the mail". I asked for a refund, which was also "lost in the mail". By the time I got everything sorted out, ebay decided they had some morals and made everyone who sold Megatrons have them modified, so at that point, it just wasn't worth it to get one since I already had the first reissue Takara did.

And I really liked that #6 box and I wanted the morningstar accessory for my G1 Megatron.

you do know that a number of online retailers(atleast one of which advertises on this site) still have some of the second run of TFC megs instock at decent prices...right?

I have #6 Megatron and #12 Minibot team.



I almost bought Blaster but got a killer deal on E-Hobby Twincast in a less than perfect box.

Yeah, but I decided against getting one.

I'd get a Prowl Reissue if i can find one. It was my favorite since they first came out.
