Yeah, either of mine had no irregular smell to them.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

You do realise there's only three Australian scientific research stations down there and they all share the same post code yeah?

While it would be very easy for me to assume that I have just come across a difference between Australian English and American English, and even figure out the meaning from context, I am going to choose to ignore that very simple reasoning and say...

"Oh my god! The source of knock-off Transformers toys is Burn leaving toys outside so evil doers can come by and copy them!"

Or, alternatively...

"Oh my god! There is apparently a roving hit man in Australia who goes around killing any poor, innocent Transformers he finds left outside for too long!"

(Ain't language fun?)

Anyway, Burn, hope the smell goes away (or at least lessens to a barely noticeable level) eventually! While not necessarily my favorite toy, Whirl is a fun one who I am glad to have in my collection. May you someday be able to (without olfactory discomfort) include him in yours, as well.

Not sure if this will damage the toy in some way, but have you tried dunking him in soapy water overnight and see if he still smells? Just an idea. :-?

Perhaps it was made with post-recycled gutter plastic. Sometimes undesirable leftovers are within the plastic itself.

You might also try milk. It's good at neutralising odours. Coffee absorbs odours as well, you could bury him in coffee granules. overnight.

If it's the plastic itself, you might as well throw it away. You should throw it away anyway, because it's a piece of crap.

That's a rather harsh response, is it not? If you dislike the toy, that is all fine and good. Personally, I like it. But even if it was a toy I did dislike, I'd not go into a thread that was someone having an unusual issue with their copy of it seeking solace and advice on how to remedy it with the suggestion of, "Throw it in the garbage where it belongs!"

To make a correlation: If this was a home video enthusiast forum, and someone made a thread saying, "I just bought Transformers: Age of Extinction and there was something wrong with the case. Anyone know a good place to get a new one?" then going into that thread and saying, "Just throw the whole bloody movie out because it is vile filth!" is, if not entirely untruthful, not really constructive to the conversation that is desired.

It's fine, RP and I have a thing where we just take shots at each other.

But I do agree, it's not the greatest of figures, but neither was his G1 incarnation either and this really wasn't much of an update.

It's a matter of opinion. You like the toy, that's fine. I don't. I think it's most likely the worst figure currently in the Transformers line, tied with Windblade. So no, it's not a harsh response on my part. It may be harsh compared to what you think, but what you think isn't the standard. It's an opinion. Just like what I think is.

Besides, considering the owner, the garbage might not be such a bad place for the figure. It might even prefer it. Image
