Is this Scavenger? You can almost see what appears to be the white part of the excavator (from vehicle mode) on the guy's back... it looks (to me).

It's not Rampage -- Rampage is yellow.

I've read the adaptations, however I can simply tell you that it is Scavenger.

Now I guess I'll just wait til next week to figure out why he looks so similar to Demolisher (although a bit smaller) and to figure out if there's a Grindor and Blackout or whatever.

I heard thats Rampage, but in red, not yellow and cause when he takes a swing at BB, you can see one of the tread whips and misses BB..

That is not scavanger. Scavanger looks like demolisher but a red with a white stripe.

Yes, I saw the treads, however we know that multiple bots have wheels as feet... so why can't more than one have treads. I have a hard time believing that Rampage would go from yellow to red or vice versa in the middle of the movie. I could be wrong... I just doubt there'd be a reason for it.

Well, to me he does kinda look like a mini-demolisher. I see red and white on that bot when I watch the trailer over and over again. It also looks like he's on on big wheel -- although I'll admit it's very hard to tell from that clip. Do we really know for sure that Scavenger will look exactly like Demolisher in robot mode (despite the possible size difference)? I don't know... just my thoughts. That's why I was asking.

In fact... I need to go back to avoiding the forums until after I see the movie (at IMAX, woo-hoo!).

Definitely scavenger, i watched the film, and hat is the one that balances on 1 leg thing that we saw art work for recently

It's Rampage (or an in movie repaint of him with a different name, but the same robot and alt mode anyway)

There's multiple versions of all the constructicons, but the only time you see Scavenger in robot mode is at the beginning.

*spoilers**

This is Rampage with his Legs together in 'Jackhammer mode'. Basically, Rampage is NOT part of Devastator. Ive seen the film and Starscream even talks to this Bot saying 'Rampage, spring the Trap' or something like that where he rolls forward in Bulldozer mode, releases Sams Parents then transforms to threaten them.

The Constructicons we have seen, Long Haul/Rampage/Demolisher are not part of Dev and therefore saying that 'Dev's right arm is yellow, so that must be Rampage' doesnt work. I understand the Toy is yellow but this i think is another of those Devastator/Brawl mix ups.

This thread is now fair game for SPOILERS!...

Well... I finally watched the movie for the first time tonight at the IMAX (would have watched it before, but my baby sitters were not available the previous nights and I wanted to see it with my wife). Anyway...

The guy is definitely Rampage. Starscream does address him by name, as Fananga said in his post. Scavenger -- still a red excavator -- is not seen in robot mode, but is seen pulling other constructicons into him to form devastator.

We do see multiple constructicons -- one of the mixmaster trucks gets pulled in by Scavenger to form Devastator, but another one is seen fighting later and Jetfire kills him. It appears that a green dump truck makes one of Devastator's legs, but yet we see Long Haul later fighting the humans separate from Devastator.

So... yes, some constructicons are showing up double... some as Devastator, others not.

I am starting to just believe the theory that the contstruction vehicles that form Devastator are just Devastator's "alt-mode" and are seperate from the actual Constructicons.
