No more death until the third one! I want a BIG fight whit lots of caracter. If they kill Prime, Starscream or Megatron in the third....i won't mind. But not in the second one.

And personally I believe one Autobot should survive through out all the movies unchanged. I personally agree with Bumblebee's upgrade to Goldbug at somepoint, and ultimately Optimus Prime should fall. This leaves either Ironhide or Ratchet. Personally, I am in favor of Ratchet surviving.

Well said. I'd have to go with keeping Ratchet as well. A medic's handy to have around for plot purposes, whereas I feel that Ironhide is ultimately more replaceable (at least in plot sense).

I don't think I could handle Bumblebee dying. What a disaster that would be. Ironhide definitely shouldn't die either. If they brought in a new character, like Sunstreaker (hell, why not another sports car) I could handle them being killed. But never, ever Bumblebee.

Well, I'm one of those weird fans who likes to see their favourite characters die in dramatic ways. So, as it stands, I'd like to see Bumblebee die, even though I'm a fan of his character.

kill oppy, replace with Ultra Magnus, revive the decepticons,then kill them again, but megatron goes All Galvatron, and they probably gonna put Unicron in too, so off with his head!

If they have the Constructicons in the next one they should die at the end. I doubt they will call him Devastator (since for some reason Brawl had that name) but he should die at the end because either a) the Aerialbots defeat him or b) the Dinobots defeat him, saving Optimus Prime and forging a friendship out of the conflicted relationship between Prime and Grimlock

I think Bumblebee should live. I like the whole "boy and his car" idea because it's the closest story element to the original story (at least as far as the comics go) and the human-TF relationship must be kept.

Ironhide could die, but he'd have to go down in a blaze of glory. I felt he really grew in the movie from feeling detached and indifferent when it came to humans to genuinely seeing why Prime fought to protect him (in large part due to his respect for Sam). If he dies, he has to save someone.

Ratchet would be no great loss, but the Autobots would lack a doctor after he was gone. Character-wise he makes little impact on the story.

I don't think Optimus should die in the second movie. Maybe at the beginning of the third, if they intend on bringing in Rodimus. Don't just kill Prime to kill him. He's the best character in the movie.

My two cents...

c'mon, we all know the main guys are gonna die in the first few minutes...how else can they sell a new toy line?

why would anyone want to buy yet another leader prime / megatron / deluxe bumblebee / barricade etc...

i think they have pretty much milked as many repaints as possible already

I think 90% of the Deceps should be killed off.

Wait... that already happened in TF1.

Prime should die, why? He was wanting to die anyways in the movie..So let Emotimus Prime die. =P

Bumblebee shouldn't be killed so soon, maybe if TF2 is good BB gets trashed hard and Wheeljack (we know he'll somehow be in TF2 or 3 someway) and rebuilds him as Goldbug.

Jazz makes a return in TF2 as Jazz now with KUNG FU GRIP only to die halfway through the movie for no reason.

Ironhide nearly dies while protecting Spike (refuse to name him Sam) for some random reason.

Ratchet is destroyed as the Decepticon carrier (is rumored by Bay) arrives and ravages him in pieces to be replaced by RedAlert.

Thats all for now..I know some of it should be in the "What do you want in TF2" thread but meh..it contained death so ya =P

Personally none of the "so-far" Autobots in TF1 should die. Just the new ones that take place
