I just came from the local thrift store with a very oddball find.
It came in a 4$ bag of random toys, most of them McDonal Happy Meal leftovers.

I really love that Hulk with smashing fists action.

But what really made me buy that 4$ bag is this:
That bitchi'n tiger.

Whith his cute little face...

And his suspicious seams everywhere.

My instincs keep screaming "BEAST WARS TRANSFORMERS!!!!" When I saw it through the bag. Especially with the only visible robot bits right under his front legs.


You cannot open the bag of goodies to closely inspect the content. You must buy it and hope for the best. This whole lot of toys plus a possible Beast Wars treasure was too tempting for just 4$ so I bought it.

Surely, such an amazing beast mode must hide an awesome robot, right?

Well, I was right about one thing. It is indeed a tiger that transform into a robot. However, the robot mode......


Sigh.
That thing have zero articulations and his robo-head barely poke over the tiger's head.

The whole thing just whisper "kiiiil meeee....."

Also, there's NOTHING written on it that can identify it. Not even a "Made in China".

So, I ask this:
ANYONE KNOW WHERE IT'S FROM?
Because it's sure not a official Transformers. I checked Google, TF wiki, and other places with no results.

I'd cry too if I was an awesome transforming tiger but my altmode was only some gory roadkill.

Oh, niiiice! That's the exact same mold. So, the sword is missing as expected.

So, it's fairly recent I guess?
Not to nitpick, but it's not a KO because it's not based at all on any real TFs.
It's really a 3rd party figure. A very, very cheap 3rd party figure, but a really cheap one.

Which is why i said "sort of", and yes, it's not really based on anything. Just a mere representation of an animal, that just so happens to transform into a robot. I'm glad you found your answer.

Man, I saw this thread and I was all "Ooh, third party Beast Wars !!!" then I saw the pics and I was all "Bad third party Beast Wars ".

I did find one interesting thing on Action Figure Checklist. Anyone else think this guy would make a good pre-Earth/Cybertronian Rampage?:




He's got a beefy bot mode, a tank mode (like Rampage) and even has a robo-crab/scorpion mode (looks more like a crab to me, especially if you lose the dinky tail).
