The scene showed why Optimus Prime is awesome.

Very true. He showed why he is the leader of the Autobots. Very cool scene.

I loved that scene, especially when optimus takes the tree and smashes it over megatron, but right before that scene i love when megatron says like decepticons atttack and then starscream comes down and then grindor does a sweet intro and transforms and starts running threw the tree's pureeeee awesomenesss

That was the highlight of the film. I like it better than the final battle. Damn, Optimus just man-handled them Decpticons. I loved it when he rips Grindor's face in half. He just chops starscream's arm off, and makes Megatron look like a pu$$y!

Damn, I just said nearly the exact same thing in another thread.

I refuse to listen to anyone who says this isnt the best scene in the movie. Hell it is my favorite scene for any movie. Optimus is my hero.

Yep, this is the best scene, and well executed too. I loved it how the first part had no music, just the clang of the metal, and when the music did start, it was part of the scene, not just to add in there to try and evoke an emotion.

I loved the scene. I think the line "You'll never stop at one! I'll take you all on!!" is the most epic line in the film. Even better than Optimus' one liner after The Fallen is defeated (I Rise You fall, Give me your face).

I was kinda upset that Grindor faced the same fate as his brother Blackout. He did at least get taken out by Optimus, which is basically an honor. IMO, heh.

We really need more fight scenes like this in TF3.

That was absolutely what I hoped for. I loved that scene as I was on the edge of my seat from the moment the autobots crashed the party. Prime was every bit the hero of our childhood this movie. It reminded me alot of Dinobots battle in Code of hero. Beaten but never giving up.The music, and tension, it was all perfect, that and the scene where the autobots arrive are two my favorite scenes of the series.

Heh in retrospect Prime was completely right about Megatron not stopping at one. His plan would killed everyone human on the planet. I dont think he realized that as he said it, but knew Megatron ahd already fell down that slippy slope in justfying everything as a means to his ends. As if Sam dying would allowed the rest of the world lived.

if you feel like rewatching it, people seem keep posting it on youtube. They get taken down, but they re cool watch.

It was the hands down the best part of the movie. Even though I knew what would happen. I was still nervous lol. Only thing that could of made it better would have for the arriving autobots to do alittle more brawling. Even though obviously Optimus is my favorite, I would love to see Ironhide do some grappling.

I actually had no idea what was going happen. especially after he was kicking so much butt , was like go prime go...then out of no where megatron stabs him, like what the heck...oh my goodness they didnt..they did...those goons killed prime...AGAIN. I knew was an outside chance it could happen, but it was still jarring see it over all again.

Given it was so early in the film, I knew he d he back, and the finale would involve Jet Optimus as id seen the toy of it on top of the only a Prime can defeat me bit. Its still never easy seeing prime die. Especially if you dont know its coming.

I knew what was going to happen because I read the novel. Though ADF couldnt write to save his life. It bothered me even though I knew he was gonna die.

I do! Though the Shanghai sequence and the Egypt battle are tied for the second best scene. I was all like OMG when Optimus ripped apart Grindor's face. Especially considering like half of the people in the theater probably thought he was Blackout.

lol, I told my little brother that wasnt Blackout.

It's certainly one of the best scenes in ROTF. I just loved Optimus Prime taking on Megatron, Starscream, and Grindor on his own. The music played in the background in that scene literally helped to endear me to that scene.

I so wanted to jump up from my seat and root Optimus on! Ah, such an amazing scene...
