Why are there different G1 Astrotrains?

Postby RailRider » Tue Jul 03, 2007 12:55 pm

Well why? If you look at the G1 version (I don't think it matters which colour version) there are versions with wings/ tail fins on his chest and one without (like in the cartoon).

Is there a reason for the fins being there, and if I clipped the chest fins off, would he stop transforming?(properly)

And why is the origonal toy for Astortrain and several others charactors not in the correct colours?

Thanks

I think the pictures you say are without fins, just have them closed, into single fin mode for the Shuttle. So they look like they aren't there, but they are.

The Open fins make his chest look bigger.

If thats not the case post some pictures of what you mean.

That's what the [img] tag is for.

There is an E-Hobby exclusive anime repaint where looks much like your avitar. You'll be looking at $100-$200 dollars for this guy.

The fins fold together as stated befor, they then slide into the chest to enable the train-mode!
Don't clip them of!

The reson for the wrong colors is cos they had to redesign some toys in order to animate them. mening that they most probebly made some cange to the colors.

I think by wrong colors, he was comparing the Takara and Hasbro G1 releases, with the Takara version being white and black.
