It would made for a good fight scene. Set him ablaze, think he's dead, but he's only pissed, and begins trashing everyone, while on fire.

Why are they shunning Megatron and putting an obscure comic book character in the movie? I never heard of the Fallen until the character was announced for the movie! Can someone shed some light on him for me?

In short....The Fallen was 1 of the original 13 transformers created by Primus [the God of TF's].

The Fallen turned on his creator and served Unicron.

As for why they decided to use the character, your guess is as good as mine.

Well, I for one didn't know who the heck this "Fallen" was I started reading about it here when people were mentioning him possibly being in the movie.
