What's wrong with names like Killbison and Eagle Killer?

Now about beast modes like Heinlads...

That hurts your eyes but the recent TF abominations of Robot Heroes, Movie TF's, Star Wars TF's and Marvel Crossovers don't? All those TF's that don't look like TF's?

Robot Heroes - disproportionately cute

Movie TF's - alien, indiscernable faces or just plain goofy

Star Wars TF's - nice vehicles but a Darth Vader head on a TF does not work and don't get me started on Obi Wan's beard.

Marvel Crossovers - Garish colour schemes and horrible heads.

For the most part, it's the head designs I have problems with in these recent TF lines.

Initially I felt the same way about Beast Wars but the fiction went a long way to winning me over as did the first Bay Movie and Animated.

I just look the traditional TF aesthetic with recognisable faces and the helmet look.

Yeah, the continuation of Beast Wars in Japan certainly did give us some interesting looking figures.

I have him/her, but not sure where or how I have it displayed at this time. Hidden no doubt.

Comparing those to what this is isn't a good comparison. Dead End a freaking pink historical fossil, any other colour would've suited it other than pink.

First of all, it's not an "historical fossil", it's a living creature that still exists in the ocean. Second, while they're not usually bright pink, they are often white with reddish stripes. So I think your complaints are off-base.

Actually, you're mixing up two species. Dead End is an Ammonite, which are extinct. You're thinking about a Nautilus, their surviving cousins. They're similar, but the Ammonite had a rigid shell while the Nautilus has a smooth one.

Put short, Dead End is an Ammonite with the colors of a Nautilus. :P

I stand corrected. He appears to be an ammonite, not a nautilus.

However, I still don't see any problem with the figure or the colors. In fact, the more I look at, the more it grows on me. Now I want to find on of these on eBay.

Okay I'm a little bit lenient on this figure now. I just bought the Beast Wars Sourcebook + Comics package and I'm liking all the bios.

For some reason I just can't get the thought of a rubber ducky Transformer out of my head. I guess seeing the giant bin of rubber duckies every time I go to Walmart looking for something new between Transformers and GI Joes just gets my mind working ing weird ways.
