how come before they even started the TF movie did they say Bee was going to be in it i mean why would you choose Bumblebee. I'm not saying I don't like Bee but why was he in it? Another thing that made me mad was that they had to change him to a Camaro and give him a stupid face

well Bay wanted a human bot relationship so who better than bumblebee? Hot Rods too lame to be in it and bumblebee had the closest relationship with Sam. I like the camaro way better than the bug. The camaro's faster, better looken and the GM deal wouldn't cover it. And i rather like the new face. Human like but yet bugish at the same time. Besides the voice he's a way beter choice that Hot Rod anyday SWEET! 500 posts :grin:

Like Mr.Bond007 said, Bumblebee had the most interaction with humans and he's technically a standard.

And I like his movie version too. He actually looks like a Bumblebee with those horns on his head, cute buglike face, bee-like doorwings...CUTE!

And then I'm reminded that he actually kind of look like a Terminator.

BUT STILL CUTE!!! XDDD

Oh good, more "why wasn't he a bug?" talk. Just bugs (no pun intended) the hell out of everyone that he wasn't an unreliable POS built in Mexico.

The new model has an interesting distinction among buyers. Recent survey (heard it on NPR) found that the largest segment of the population that actually buys VW Beetles are gay males. I'd have thought it would be women. :???:

I was skeptical when first announced, but I'm definitly glad Bumblebee was in it, and even happier with the end result of the camaro concept. Honestly this bumblebee really isn't comparable to the original. The original bumblebee was just a little bitchboy to optimus prime, and usually stayed back at base with Spike(sam) while the other autobots went out and had fun. I don't think he even had a gun!

This bumblebee seems more rebelious and wild spirited, and he was bad ass in the movie. Beat the **** out of Barricade, and killed brawl. Much better than the original. No complaints here!

bumblebee shouldve been sunstreaker,ironhide:trailbreaker,ratchet in g1 colors and have another face closer to his g1 counterpart and barricade renamed soundwave,blackout:thundercracker (hope you get the remold joke),megatron' design shouldve been kept for a sequel to make unicron.

Bumblebee should not have been anyone but himself. Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Starscream are the most well remembered characters. This is a franchise they're selling. He had to be in it.

And he wasn't a bug because Volkswagen didn't want to be associated with war in any way, so there was no licensing rights.

Why do you have a argue with that? Bumblebee is the best! His face was pretty cool just like all the other Autobots. His new Camaro was sweet as! Bumblebee is cool and thats why he was in it... there's your answer, take it and stop complaining!
