Wisconsin Transformers sightings

No go on Arcee in Janesville today, called them right after 11.
Did another round of calls and expanded my radius. When I called Green Bay they told me they had her. I asked if they could hold it and I was asked if I wanted 1 or both. I took both (reselling the second one at cost to another Madisonite). Drove up there. The guy I spoked to apologized and told me they actually had 4. I said that was alright as I don't want to appear greedy. I checked the store, 1 of the other two was still there right out on the front of the peg, didn't see the other one. Good selection of various animated figures, plenty of the ROTF multi-packs. A bunch of Classic ultras as well.
The Green Bay Toys R Us is HUGE! The Madison one would fit inside with it's parking lot. The Green Bay store also has the friendliest staff I've encountered in any Toys R Us as well.
BTW, I know, I'm probably nuts for driving all the way there from Madison just for a pair of Arcees but I've also applied for several jobs in the Green Bay area and haven't been up there in 15 years and never coming from Madison, so now I have an idea how long the drive would be and how much time to give myself if I should get an interview up there.

If anyone is still looking for a MP Skywarp, Wal Mart in Oshkosh has one left in their clearence section, although it wasn't priced.
I still can't find mysel a Skystalker, I've seen every ever figure from the wave except for him.

Other than that, there isn't really anything new in NE WI.

Those 2 packs are now down to $9. Wish I'd waited a week, still about a dozen left of each.

Saw all the first wave of Power Core Combiners and amongst Hunt For The Decpticons I saw Jetblade, Payload, Night Ops Ratchet, Sea Attack Ravage, Battle Blade Bumblebee, and Deluxe Ironhide. Excapt for the Night Ops Ratchet and Payload there were good quantities of all.

Pretty new collector myself... mainly interested in the older G1 or masterpiece transformers.
I was pretty lucky to get the nice 20th anniversary edition Optimus at Toys R Us a couple years back.
I'm currently looking for the SDCC Soundwave and Masterpiece Starscream... any better ideas than EBAY?
I am also hoping to get a masterpiece Grimlock... but doesn't sound like Toys R Us on the westside of Madison will have them yet?
Any info on the items mentioned above would be most helpful. Thanks!

Monona Wal-mart: PCC Mudslinger, Double Clutch, Bombshock, and Skyburst - 1 each and a bunch of Huffers, Smoulders, and Searchlights. Also generations, HFTD scouts and legends. Also still some Marvel cross overs in addition to the Iron Man 2 and Star Wars cross overs.
Fitchburg Target: HA Jazz and Bumblebee, several of each. Leader Starscream and Battle Ops Bumblebee. The 2-pack exclusives. A bunch of Drifts, 1 Thrust, and few Cybertron Bumblebees and Primes.
Madison Toys R Us: Went looking for Animated Rodimus and Ironhide, no luck there but found 2 Masterpiece Grimlocks (bought 1).

Meet-Up will be at the Milwaukee OCB on Saturday, August 28th, at 10:30am.
The address for the OCB in Milwaukee (Browndeer- Northridge) is 6538 WEST BROWN DEER ROAD, BROWN DEER, WI.
Come hang out with your fellow Cheddarheaded Transfans! Talk about all the important things in life, your favorite Transformer, show off that recent grail you picked up, arrange a swap with other Transfans who'll be attending, and come eat!!!!
There are a few stores in the area to stop and look at prior to the show. We can look at the same places after the show, too
Come, pay 5 bucks for breakfast, then stay for the lunch.
In addition to the raffle items we'll have.... there will be something special given to each person who attends. I can't say specifically what it is, or why it's important. But it's important
That is all. Sound off, people!!
RSVPs appreciated, either in this thread, at the Dairycon Facebook Event Page, or at the Dairyland Transfans Yahoo Group page (membership required).

Received the following missive from Fred regarding the recent DTF Meet-Up:
"Hi all- Just wanted to take the time to say 'Thank You!' to all who attended. I had a great time, and I hope you did too. Special thanks to all our Raffle winnersThere were some wonderful prizes. Pictures with witty commentary in the next few days."
Are you like me, filled with despair that you were unable to attend this fancy Dairyland gala? Well, you should be. For shame! We missed out on some good food, good friends, and GREAT toys!
But all is not lost, however! Because *THIS JUST IN!* Due to the success of this initial luncheon, it has been reported that there *WILL* be another DTF Get-Together! Watch this mailer for details on the upcoming meet-up, as details will be finalized in the coming weeks!
Excelsior!
PS: Pictures of the event! Want to see what we missed? Those of you who attended want to reminisce about how joyful an experience the event was? Check out the link to some pictures from the show!
