Right now I'd have to say ROTF Jetfire. I've never before had a TF that actually pissed me off.

The damned panels, and his transformation stinks. His alt mode falls apart way too easily.

Yeah, Leader Jetfire has such a basic transformation but it's the need to align multiple panels just right that makes the process a chore for me. I love the figure, though, despite its several faults.

For transformer I regret buying most I would say Energon Megatron and RID Optimus. Wierd designs Simple ass transformations. Just overall disappointing.
Movie Blacokout was depressing when I got it open because of how cool Blackout was in the movie.

Movie Blacokout was depressing when I got it open because of how cool Blackout was in the movie.

The only complaint I have about Blackout was its transformation and the dang head / face was badly painted.

Ditto. The worst part is his back kibble. Half an untransformed chopper stuck to his back, and Scorponok now jumps out of his metal ass instead of his back, no thanks to the rotating blades gimmick.

Well, when I display mine, I took off his back part. Makes him easier to stand and more compactable.

Defenitley Animated Skywarp. He was falling apart so bad, i'm pretty sure i lost parts on the drive home.

He can fall apart with his friends Starscream and Sunstorm, soon with Thundercracker too But srly though, atleast the parts can be reattached w/o much hassle. Was it the arms that kept falling off?

I would say out of my collection, the most disspointing would be masterpiece megatron, looks really good but unfortuantely he is a pain to transform,dman fragile, easily brokeable and THE WORST THING IS HE RUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe it's tarnish so the good news is that you can reduce or remove the tarnish. Check out this thread some information on the tarnish that plagues MP Megatron figures.

I've held off on adding my own "worst" Transformer but after spending some time, I am putting up Energon Storm Jet/RotF Silverbolt on the chopping block. It simply has a bad robot mode. It's not very solid, it's aesthetically unpleasing, and the way that it has no hands, just partially molded fist shapes with peg holes at the end of its forearms. It's a terrible design for a toy that came out in 2004.



To me, this design looks like it's suitable as a KO "transforming robot toy" but not as an official product.

The alt mode, on the other hand...



I think it looks great. It really evokes Star Saber in my eyes.



Storm Jet/Afterburner/Silverbolt suffers from a design that takes the combined form as priority and the robot mode is almost an afterthought, shoe horned into the design. It looks fine as the torso/head section of Superion Maximus but as a standalone toy, I only display Silverbolt in alt mode.

Maybe that's an included effect of the episode "Cosmic Rust".
