I had flashbacks when DOTM was released, the speculation for this film was very high. My flashbacks were about ROTF. I had first speculated the title meant Megatron's revenge (I grew up with Armada, Energon, and Cybertron. I had no clue who The Fallen was). When I saw the movie I thought I was right, until Megs got on the Nemesis and started talking with The Fallen.

And so I'm asking you, would you have prefered the Revenge of Megatron plot. The Fallen's character was wasted in the actual film, if Megatron was the main villian, do you think the movie would've been any better. If you think neither plot is a good idea, leave your own idea in your reply.

I was pretty satisfied with the main plot for ROTF, although I felt that the story structure itself just needed a lot of polishing.

When i heard about revenge of the fallen i thought it was going to be about the ressurection of megatron and the other cons and then recieve their revenge on the autobots and humans.I dont think the fallen character wasn't a waste because he reminded me of the emperor from starwars and megs would be like darth vader but only to find that the fallen would only stay alive for at least 10 mins of screentime made me dislike the fallen so im glad he's dead

I think I would have preferred that. I didn't think the Fallen really did anything that Megatron couldn't have done. It could have led to a better finale where Optimus combines with Jetfire and fights Devastator and Megatron. It would have needed a different title though, Revenge of the Fallen just begs to have the Fallen in it.
