Picture this:

Its Earth 4 Million BC, running through the forest is Optimus Primal, he climbs a cliff and just above is a Massive stone temple..with lots of vines and brush covering it.. On the outside of the temple is what seems to be an Autobot symbol..as he enters the building, lasers and traps spring up at every turn. once through the battle zone of traps and a door way leading into a great hall..he sees what looks Like a giant Statue of Sentinel Prime..in his hand is a giant sealed container of Metal, which has an Autobot and Decepticon Markings on it, with 4 handles on each side, think of the Matrix but with another handle in between on each side..so it makes an x or a cross.. Optimus primal Grabs the Relic, and makes a run for the nearest exit, as he escapes the ruins begin to crumble..

He makes his way across the landscape and is fired upon by Waspinator and what looks to be Star Scream of the Decepticons?? Optimus Primal dodges fire and escapes into a ravine, where he falls into a river..he makes it back to what seems to be the wreckage of a space ship, once inside he, places the relic into a machine in the center of the room, off to the side he presses some buttons, and says" Come on Work!" then suddenly the container opens into four sections where the handles are, and energy and a brilliant light shine upwards, then suddenly you see the figure of Optimus Prime, from RID! then Primal Prime! finally Lio Prime! Optimus Primal explains that in this realty his crew was chasing Megatron and fell back into time on Earth (same as in the original Beast wars)except that, the rest of his comrads had fallen due to the Predacons and the arrival of the Herald of Unicron, Nemesis Prime!!

Optimus primal had been hiding out and trying to find a way to regroup and regain the advantage, but it had not been until he had learned from an old recorded message he found in a cave far from the crashed ship, that told of the Ancient Autobots building of a temple in which was stored the most powerful object in the universe...The Allspark!

He also explains how he has pulled Optimus Prime from time and an alternate reality to this one by the power of the allspark, which was placed here on earth, for safety in an Autobot temple eons ago. In this reality Unicron was a smaller Tank..but as the other Unicron's in alternate realities died, their energy and Spark would flow into this Universe..and join with Unicron.

In this reality there is a council of Primes, each is a Prime throughout alternate dimensions and the power of the Matrix which they all carried is now shared, they are all linked to each other and each others alternate reality battles and experience, which can help them crush unicron and his forces once and for all.. but also on the Predacon and Decepticons front, they have also learned of the machine that optimus primal has used to bring reinforcements from different realities for the fight and through battles are able to take the Maximal ship on occasion and open gateways as well and bring more evil beings to their aide..

thats pretty much the premise..battle with a handful of Primes, versus the baddest and the best of each series, and all in the battle to destroy UNICRON, control the Allspark, and keep that realities Earth from being destroyed in the process.. Sounds exciting to me, even if the whole Unicron thing has been played out by the Armada/Energon/Cybertron series..

I'd watch it over the upcoming cartoon, if the leaked info about it is accurate.

of course the issue here would be having knowledge of the previous series to understand the characters and their histories (primal and beast Megatron have a history that explains their rebirth).

It would be a very hard show to write for, the writers would need to have done plenty of research on all the shows they pull into the storyline, so as to keep the characters similar to what they were in their original shows.

It could be quite good though, even with the mass influx of storylines, the re-introduction of Unicron etc etc.

Will never happen, but a cartoon would be nice, the Universe Comics were just not enough.

I have to agree with Shadowman. The whole Universe series are characters from before.. and some even have two different versions(I think Beast Machines Black Arachnia has two different ones, aswell as Armada Sideswipe).

They would need a real good script to get the show running

Why wouldn't this be an issue for a new series? In a new series they have to introduce the characters and their origins. With a continued series they introduce the characters, but a few people already know them. So it's only EASIER.

You dont know how many times I have been waiting for a TF universe cartoon to be made! Because that idea sounds badass!

if by easier you mean cheaper. Characters will act a certain way because of their past, and to introduce their past you need to use things like narration or flashbacks, both of which waste valuable episode time. And with all the characters there are, and the histories they have, the series just wouldn't go anywhere.

For us fans, if Primal didn't act like Primal, we'd be annoyed. Like the way Beast MAchines was handled, people hate it because the characters changed so much simply due to Skir and co not knowing what they were doing (in my opinion!).

Basically, to please us, they need to be consistent, and to explain the way they are (as a result of said consistency) you need to introduce their background for the newcomers to the franchise, who don't want to hear the background because they dont care, so the animators don't include it (or dont work from it) and suddenly we fans are annoyed they aren't being consistent.

This would kick ass. It would be enjoyable for all the fans. G1, Beast Wars, Beast Machines etc.

The show would have to PG rated so that u can have TF from either series to die!And it would end it all!

well I would hope that mainframe would do it, cause I loved their Beast Wars series, except the Beast Machines..but all they would have to do is do a little flashback that sums it up their past in like 3 minutes of TV time.. it would be easy.. besides I would love to see Optimus prime from RID in CGI.. that would be cool.. not to mention that the Beast Wars Characters that are repaints would also be cool.. and a Nemesis prime in CGI.. WOW!!

Besides the comics are not enough!!! as some one said earlier.. and not only that you can have a different personality for those guys if you wanted, they are in a different reality in which the Sparks and energies from other realities flow.. this Transformers universe series could be the Nexus of the whole continuity thing..

You could bring in G-1 guys, Alternator Guys, RID guys, Energon Guys, ect.. ect.. i mean imagine Ironhide Alternator fighting along side Optimus prime Fire truck!! Or Optimus primal fighting along side Lio Prime.. or even better still, Optimal optimus and Primal Prime together.. or the Original and the RID version.. the possibilities are endless..

I would love to see a toy line that coincides with this series, then finally we could get all those figures we missed, and at retail pricing, and kids could get some figures from those molds, in different colors, yes, but still cool characters..

G-1 Megatron could be a tank in TF universe.. I mean it doesn't have to go the way i described, I was just suggesting that if you had the Primes from the moment they joined this reality their Matrix's all became one, and shared the knowledge ect.., The Allspark as a source of unimaginable power.. optimus primal whose alone at first and needs help which is why he seeks the allspark in the cartoon, and it can tie into the movie bots as well..

Its the best Bots from all the series, in one show!! how could it not be cool!!!

Beast Wars had characters die, and that series kept going, even into Beast wars transmetals.. it was Dinobot's death in code of hero remember?? one of my favorite all time episodes!!!

Wouldn't you need all the original voice actors for it to be consistant? Or would it be differant as it is a new continuity?


Edit: If I did a new Tf series, I probably wouldn't ever have any form of time travel in mine. Too many chances to create paradoxes, plus the 'cons would eventually figure out that alls you need to do to destroy your enemy is to simply prevent him from ever having been born/created. No fuss, no muss, no messy fighting needed. Plus I just simply hate time travel.

I agree, but what I thought would be cool is that it starts out like the original beast Wars series as far as the flashbacks to how primal ended up on Earth 4 Million B.C., and that would also explain why there is such a huge push to destroy Unicron in the past, before he gets to his large planet stage in 2005..in G-1..it would be cool to explore ancient Cybertronian artifacts and relics that were littered throughout the Galaxy, and explain the connection between the Vok and Transformers and why they are against each other, but fascinated by each other as well..

Plus as the energies and Sparks flow in from alternate realities into the one Unicron in this universe, it would make sense as to why the Optimus primes from other realities are called upon to join forces to combat this problem..Throw in alternate versions of Megatron, Starscream, and other characters and you have the makings of a battle royal, and a seriously cool toy line with the best robots from any series..

the voice actors would and could be the originals or anyone who wants to voice them .. I mean if you wanted you could try to get Peter cullen back for the Original prime to make an appearance...but whats cool is the redecos for this series. they make them unique at the same time the characters back story we have seen before, but could be touched on in flashbacks, in CGI like as in Beast Wars when Starscream appeared and took over Waspinator..Forgive what I'm about to say but, it would be cool to see a Redeco 20th anniversary prime in Movie flame colors.. for this series..

As with the yellow fire truck Optimus prime its fun to see those characters in an Alternate time line continue on in battle against an enormous foe.. little human involvement is necessary, but you could add a CGI Spike into the mix with a CGI DR. Archevil..this cartoon would be great to see what we have all wanted for years, the classic and up to date characters represented in full CGI glory in an all out encompassing brawl cartoon..

I just though of another continuity/alternate universe: Transformers: Mirror Universe

In this universe or continuity the Transformers meet their doubles that are from a mirror universe.
Basically they would act in ways their doubles would really, really not like i.e., Mirror Starscream would really like and kiss up to Mirror Megatron in such a sugary way that would make normal Starscream puke. Or Mirror O. Prime would be cruel and mistreat and enslave other sentients. Megatron would be kind and peace-loving, and would tend to back away from war.
Spike would be really rebellious and backtalk his father and be mean to Carly. Well you get the idea. Kinda like Star Trek Mirror Universe but with Tfs.

So a more emotional Energon Starscream, Nemesis Prime, Kicker & a nice Megs.

Optimus (G1, BW, RiD, Armada) and alll Autobt teams teamin up 4 one final battle (not to metion the Decepticons)! I don't know it would be heartbreaking if that series ends!

Well my idea for the series would be a cartoon done by Mainframe, bring in all the transformers actors that will do it.. even ask Peter Cullen to reprise his role of optimus prime in this cartoon, and so on..

the series would be the "sliders" version of what all previous series has had..

It would start out with Beast wars, and optimus primal on the run after his obtaining the allspark from an Ancient Autobot temple hidden on Earth, for use with his dimensional portal machine in whats left of the Maximal Ship..

unicron the tank version, would be gathering soldiers from all different dimensions and putting them to work on a planetary sized form for him, similar to the ones in Armada and G-1, only this one is even more badass.. and will house all the unicron spark energy that keeps flowing in from those other realities after those Unicrons are defeated..

His ultimate goal is to combine himself with that Huge new body and combine his Sparks with those of the other defeated unicron's and becoem invincible and rule/Devour the galaxcy..

this energy and Spark thats released from his alternate universe doubles would be the reason why he has the ability to abduct other Megatrons and such from different realities and force them to be his slave and fight..

Optimus Primal was going about the Beast Wars just as it was in the original Universe, but his battle turned ugly and most of the Maximals and Predacons that were with him have died..

Those Sparks of fallen Predacons and Maximals are captured by Optimus Primal and are stored until he brings other heroes form different realities to his, and upgrades them..(thus explains the new redeco colors)..

I feel this series would be really exciting, serious, and would have an appeal to all fans of Transformers, and would place Transformers universe in the central lime Light...

After reading about what they tried to accomplish.. it really makes the whole series seem very convoluted and confusing.. that is why it keeps being cancelled and will never suceed.. it has to be good enough to be a stand alone series, but also have references for the hardcore fans, and continuity buffs

it should have been very simply put.. this Universe is one time frame.. things are very different from the other realities.. and any references to beast machines, Beast Wars, G-1 are not to be taken into consideration to confuse the story.. its simply this..G-1 Happened BW started to happen.. unicron showed up.. and all hell broke loose.. he has power/Sparks from other realities and Unicrons deaths with grant him the ability to look into those dimensions and pull a finite number of soldiers to do his bidding..

Like wise in the same time period on Pre historic Earth, optimus Primal and his 3 man crew of Him, Rhinox, and Cheetor are all that left, and they pull RID optimus and others through realities using the Allspark energy. to t his reality to help in the fight.. upgrading them with the sparks of their fallen comrads..

Through this is formed the first and powerful "Council of Primes".. and they learn over time that their individual Matrix's have the ability to grant them one mental mind.. Bringing the term, "till all are one" into the lime light as a saying that has been passed down from generation to generation.. and is really a profficy about this very battle.. because the final Battle of uncron will not end, till all are one, till all Primes are in the same reality and share one mind and experiences one wisdom through the Matrix..

It will come out that the Matrix was actually split up at the Dawn of time by the VOK and has been carried to all realities to All prime's for the coming battle when it is needed to defeat the one true Unicron and his final form..

Thats what a real story is like not that crappy "Animated" stuff they are producing now!!!

I think a Transformers Universe show would be awesome. I'd be totally satisfied however with a few direct to DVD movies in the same vein as the Hot Wheels movies.
