Well, I just received an eBay purchase from a seller in Singapore, and I'm having doubts about whether it's real. My Smallest Transformers Hot Rodimus is different from what I was expecting. First off, it's got 2 right forearms. Factory defects happen all the time, doesn't mean it's fake. But there are a few other things I wasn't expecting:

The parts seem to be all red plastic, painted the colors they are. The spoiler is painted yellow, torso painted orange, and guns and pipes silver. I'm comparing it to Remy's photogallery, and it's also missing the black outline around the chest/hood graphics. I can't tell for certain (pictures are rarely natural color), but the colors of the plastic seem to be slightly different, and his looks like colored plastic, not painted parts.

One important difference, is that the head/engine piece doesn't fit flush with the chest/hood, so it's very loose in robot mode and swings on its pivots quite easily.

Now, the version in Remy's gallery is the original release, while mine is the bonus one that came with THS G1 Convoy in Japanese TRUs.

Did I just figure it out myself (it's a different version), or did I get ripped off? I've never heard of a KO of this figure, so I don't know.[/url]

I have the same one that you do; probably from the same seller. I'd venture to say the difference is because it was the second release of the figure (came with a THS-02 Prime pre-order). The little box for it and the figure itself seem legit. Either way, I'm happy with it.

Yeah, mine's okay aside from the wrong arm, and that's not really the seller's fault. It's not that noticable since it's so small anyway. Alright, thanks, good to know that there are variations between the versions.

Painted plastic doesn't sound right for the spoiler.

Even with the second run, the THS Convoy bonus?

I did a buy it now from probably the same guy in Singapore on the 2nd. The box is red, and was the TRU exclusive handout with THS-02 Convoy.

I am still waiting for it...

Hah, yeah probably the same one. Hopefully yours will have proper arms. He's not bad at all, just not quite as cool as I was expecting. I love that he has his tiny little guns though, and he actually holds them in his hand, unlike Prime, whose gun clips onto his arm.

Shipping for mine took a little while, but it wasn't too bad. You'll probably get yours soon.

Hah, nice! I'm not really a Unicron aficiondo, so I fortunately don't have to do the same. But if they ever released that awesome prototype from several years back...

You are refering to the "Beast Wars" Unicron, or "Turtle Back Unicron"...it will never happen: co$t.

Waaaay more complex than Armada/Energon Unicron.

Well, I'm not really grateful, because I don't care about Unicron. I'm not really one for big Transformers at all, MP's are my biggest pieces. But that one looked so cool I wouldn't be able to pass it up if it had been released. Cost too much? Pssh, I say. We pay an arm and half a leg for MP toys, why not Unicron?
