My wife loves Soundwave also. I bought her the Takara Re-issue a couple 'o years ago. Second to SW is Smokescreen.

If there are any other girls besides me reading this, let's talk about our boyfriends' fave Transformers! ...for those of us who have boyfriends. Or just regular friends.
Me and my pal make fun of literally EVERY Transformer under the Sun, although we tend to gravitate toward pestering the Decepticons. Forget the Matrix, drop US in the Decepticon base and you'd get a darn good show if not total victory!
Example: "Uploading virus catnip.exe to Ravage's neuroprocessor..."

My wife has a soft spot for Bumblebee, Hot Rod/Rodimus, & Hot Shot. She's also claimed Alt. Sunstreaker & Sideswipe as her own (and is also the only reason I own Alt. Optimus Prime, I'm not a fan of the Dodge mold, but she loves it).
She'll routinely check out Target & Walmart for new figures for me, and will occasionally pick up a figure that she likes for herself!

Im sadly single these days, but my last ex went from never having heard of tfs to really likeing em thanks to me. I ended up getting her 5 of the minitin spychangers, my spare Vector Prime, and (her fav) classics Bumblebee (which she, a usually ungirly girl, described as 'cute' *shudder*).

Let me put it this way, never get two cultural/sociological/pop culture experts in the same room talking about Soundwave being who he is because he constantly has his masculinity 'penetrated' by his minions. Welcome to discussions with my partner and mother-in-law. I damn near died. Though, very interesting to think about. One thing I am looking forward to is analysing the new movie with them. Brings a whole new side to Transformers when you can do more that just 'enjoy' them. An I thank my partner for that.

I bought my gf Energon Hot Shot as her first Transformer, she has wanted a "car one" since she was 5, but she had to wait another 15 years to get one. She bought herself Spychanger Prowl not long after that.
She also likes Cybertron Jetfire and Evac (both of which she bought me because she said they looked cool) and she loves Beast Wars Cheetor.
Her current favourites are the Real Gear Camera and Gameboy, both of which she has claimed as hers.
