As for the diecast comment/question: I actually think Warbot's diecast makes him harder to pose. If Arcee had it anywere but in her shoes, I think she would topple over much worse than Warbot D does.

Blurr is confirmed as being a Drift repaint, which is why the Animated version works better in my mind. Drift's a fantastic mold, but Blurr he ain't.

And being an owner of Warbot, I must agree about the Die-Cast. They did a wonderful job, he's solid, the paint is gorgeous (pics don't do it justice), but his metal makes him an absolute pain sometimes.

I'll get the Nightbird version of this and maaybe the Paradron Medic version. I was NEVER gonna get the Arcee version of this. Heck I was just gonna get the Nightbird version until I realized that they wanna do it in Green. Simple but functional.

im kinda hoping shes all plastic. im losing my love for die cast due to how the paint is chipping off a couple of my figures pretty badly (glaring at my takara reissue astrotrain and hasbro MP Prime)

I was just kidding about the DRIFT to ARCEE thing. It was to make light of the fact that they are going to make someone else out of that mold that is hard to picture at this time.

Reason being? Because the TF Con Nightbird is what? $140? So, into that price goes the cost of the convention and the head remold.

City Commander was about $80 on release, while TF Con Powered Commander was $150.

That's what I'm basing my estimate off of.

Didn't look like a fixing pose to me, but yeah, I suppose. I only watched it once, and I am trying to remember if she was holding her guns, cause it's hard to fix someone that way.

Dude - I wasn't joking. $75 after the Rabid Squirrel Production's $500 seems like a dream amount and we don't have to assemble this one ourselves. Even at nearly $140 I'd probably still find a way to fork out the money.

This takes priority over Unicron, IMO. I have Armada Unicron already and he does at fine job at what he does. The 2010 release would be very nice, but I'm probably going to have to make a choice on this one.

The news about a possible Generations line Arcee and Kup really puts me on the fence about this. The figure looks good, but almost like they didnt know what line to direct it towards. And if Hasbro's release is a new mold, the difference in price might be the deal breaker. It would be smart for these guys to release this item before Hasbro starts teasing theirs. I'd like to know more about the price and see a few more pictures without the guns and in poses (other than Arcee on her knees :-$

) before i commit.

I would have to watch it again, but I really would like to see what she looks likes sans guns (snicker).

If HASBRO makes an Arcee original mold, or they use the old unproduced Titanium mold, it would wicked excellent.

I'll believe the Generations Arcee and Kup when I see them. Even if Hasbro releases a Generations Arcee, they would have a hard time topping this. The only real negative I see here is price.

$80 is a steep for my taste aswell, but i think id get her as long as she was under $100. i think $60 or under would be more appropriate tho

LOL! Thats exactly what I thought when I got my Animated Arcee. And it didnt help that I got 2 of them. But nothin happened.
