Luthiendrial's Bio
Luthiendrial is a thief, mercenary, and all-out fortune hunter of the highest caliber. Hailing from the savage world of Animatron, she is both a skilled warrior and a shrewd diplomat. A former ranking courtier of the Predaking Tyranacron, she has since abandoned the constant infighting of her people for a much grander dream of traveling the universe in search of a more rewarding pursuits.
Being an Animatrosian, Luthiendrial is an extremely intelligent individual. Millennia of navigating and weaving the twisting plots and counter-plots of the Hyperborean aristocracy of her homeworld, Animatron, have sharpened her cunning beyond even the most mentally acute individual. Predatory to a point, she is always sizing up those around her, calculating whether they are a predator, or whether they are the prey. In turn, Luthiendrial tends to be a manipulative mechanism with self-centered tendencies. She cares only for herself and her possessions, and views herself as above others when it comes to status and authority. This is not to say she does not have a conscience or without honor or pride. She will defend those she views “below her station” when necessary, but will fill little remorse or pity for them if they end up as part of the “collateral damage.” Likewise, Luthiendrial is honorable in her own fashion, with a strong sense of personal pride; however, she will not hesitate to avenge herself if she feels that she has been wronged in some way. Most notably, Luthiendrial swears allegiance to neither the Autobot nor the Decepticon cause; instead, she chooses to follow the teachers of her sire, Kraxus. While she understands the Autobots’ desire to be determine their own future, and respects the honorable nature of their government, Luthiendrial has little faith that they will emerge victorious in a war of attrition. The Decepticons cause is no better; though their totalitarian methods may win them the war, their methods are neither honorable nor glorious to her mind, and thus not worthy of her allegiance.
Historically, Luthiendrial hails from the wild jungle planet of Animatron. Unlike many that currently call the Jupiter-sized world home, she did not immigrate there during the golden age of the Cybertronian Imperium, and its galaxy spanning space bridges. Instead, she is a 'second generation' mechanism, constructed by the hands of another Cybertronian, and given life through long-lost dark rituals. In her case, her creator was the ancient predacon Kraxus, a former warlord turned reclusive philosopher and eccentric court wizard, and under his tutelage, she matured into the female she is today.
Luthiendrial stylizes herself as a galaxy-spanning fortune hunter, constantly on the hunt for rare and valuable objects. More often than not, this means she contracts herself out as a mercenary-for-higher. Though she will consider contracts from all sources, she accepts only the most desirable bids, even if they are not the highest paying. When not under contract, Luthiendrial is constantly on the hunt for the treasures of past civilizations in hopes of adding them to her ever-growing collection. In recent centuries, she has been chasing after a rumored hidden data archive of the Celestials, the first sapient species to achieve galactic domination untold eons before all other life came into being…
