Fix-It's' Bio
The Fix-It's are a race of minuscule sentient flying saucers with the ability to completely repair damage of all kinds to inanimate structures or objects of any composition, as well as make minor repairs to one another.
This is an entire fleet of them.
They were here on Earth and witnesse the Twin Towers being blown apart internally from the ground up. They also tuned their receivers to the news broadcasts shortly there after. Even in their foreign minds, unaccustomed to human politics and government, they knew something was amiss.
The leader of the colony decided to take his best and brightest builders and follow the rubble of the towers which was being hauled off in quite a hurry. They trailed the remains of the towers to scrapyards in China and India, both owned by a Chinese firm named Baosteel. On the way, they also discovered through intercepted transmissions that the company purchased 50,000 tons of the mangled steel at a rate of $120 per ton, compared to an average price of $160 paid by local mills in the previous year.
Upon arriving at the two dump sites, the Fix-It's gathered up all the wreckage needed and set off into the night.
Two weeks later, the Twin Towers were standing again. With the entire fleet of Fix-It's having taken up residence within it.
Oh, one more detail. The Twin Towers were sentient now...and boy did they have a lot to say, you crooked mother f—ers.
