Transmutate's Bio

During the Beast Wars, an event that hasn't even happened yet in the context of the Heavy Metal War, a protoform was discovered by the Maximal crew. This poor protoform was unfortunately damaged heavily, leaving its mind in a state of infancy. This bot was known as Transmutate, or Trans-Mutate depending on who you ask. Transmutate was merely a transformer by name & labeling; otherwise, this poor creature is nothing more than a useless Earth-built bot in the vein of Nightbird. However, the Transmutate of the APS is not the same person. This Transmutate claims to be from an alternate timeline, one where she wasn't damaged beyond repair. She would join the Maximal cause & fight alongside her allies. However, Transmutate herself hated all of the violence in the Beast Wars, so when the opportunity came to return to Cybertron, she would try & run for a position of political power to try & keep the peace. Apparently, that didn't work out so well & then Beast Machines happened, except now with Transmutate fighting alongside the Maximals. After the events of Beast Machines, Transmutate was captured by a corrupt Cybertronian government & used as a test subject to see if it was possible to travel through time easily, instead of having to take an entire ship to do so. It was an apparent success but at the cost of not being able to return to the future. Now Transmutate fights alongside the Autobots in the APS & waits for the day to return home with the other Maximals.
(Also, I'm surprised nobody had already used the name Transmutate! I'd assume many people love to use real Transformer names, so seeing this one not be used makes me honored to be the first & only!)
