Arctic-Blaze was a crew member on the invasion ship “The Inferno”. At the end of the ship’s log, it’s stated by the captain of the Inferno, Incinerator, ordered the evacuation of all non-essential personnel, as the ship had been located by an Autobot Guardian Vessel. The ejected members were meant to board the Guardian and disable it from the inside. However, Blaze’s pod was hit by a counter plasma beam from the massive vessel, causing the pod to malfunction, turn its inhabitant back into a malleable protoform, and crash on to the nearby planet of EQ-4. The Pod ended up in a crystal cave in the side of a mountain, where the crystals penetrated his pod. After all the trauma the pod had gone through, the only thing it could still remember to do was keep the now protoform Arctic-Blaze alive and scan for a new alternative mode. As fate would have it, the cave once held the hoard of a dragon, who had died in a cave in, and was just about the right size for a Cybertronian’s alternative mode. Thanks to the damage the pod had sustained, AB’s memory had been extremely damaged, and he honestly believed that he actually was a dragon for about 20 earth years! Not too long ago, The Overdrivers had begun searching for new recruits for their squadron, and ended up finding the remains of the Inferno and most of it’s crew in orbit around EQ-4. After a quick hack from Over-Ride, he was able to reactive the spark detector and managed to find Arctic-Blaze on the surface of the nearby planet.
Most of Blaze’s memories are a blur, and Over-Ride is currently trying to unlock and repair them to try and figure out what happened to the rest of the protoforms and crew aboard the Inferno. He’s also starting to form a crush on his teammate Fire-Power.
