PROFILE: Velocity is all about speed, and hopes to one day prove he could beat Hot Shot or Override in a race any day of the week. He lives his every moment fast and to its fullest, never putting on the brakes for anything unless he absolutely has to. Eager, headstrong and courageous, Velocity is most alive when he's applying liberal boots to the heads of Decepticon scum. He can be a bit reckless at times, but he is a clever warrior who is good at thinking almost as fast as he moves. Velocity can be extremely boastful and arrogant about his abilities from time to time, and loves to show off, throwing quips and sarcastic comments while he does it. This can lead him into problems as he occasionally gets more interested in pulling off fancy manuevers than just winning the battle. He is also very much a party bot, always looking for good times and fun rather than being responsible. Though now a Maximal, Velocity chose to keep his energon-guzzling vehicle mode. Closer to his former Autobot self than many of his teammates, Velocity has a lot of sympathy for his former Autobot comrades.
ABILITIES: Velocity's racecar mode is capable of land speeds of up to 700 mph, and can even move up vertical surfaces for short periods. The sonic booms left behind in his wake are all just part of the fun for Velocity. He is also very interested in computers and programming, able to hack into any enemy computer system with lightning fast speed and leaving no traces that he was ever in their databases. Velocity has wireless capability with encryption, allowing him to get straight into any system with wireless capability without use of any physical interface. When necessary, he also has wire nodes in each hand which allow him to plug directly into a computer system. Velocity often uses these capabilities to override security systems so his fellow Maximals can safely enter an enemy facility, his speed allowing him to arrive and have the system down well before the Maximals attack. Velocity is also a master of Metallikato, and a dead-aim with his Dol-Laser Rifle.
WEAKNESSES: It is Velocity's natural skill and aptitude at so many things that often causes him to get overconfident. He isn't used to having to work for much of anything, just being used to being naturally good at it. He often overestimates his own capabilities. Velocity also has little protection using his wireless capabilities, and his own laser core has occasionally been intruded upon by viruses and ICE programs.
