PROFILE: The brilliant commander of the Rat Pack, Vector Maximus has been both a scientist and warrior in his proud and glorious past. As a scientist, his coldly analytical mind allows him to make the difficult decisions that other Autobot leaders can't or won't, even being willing to sacrifice his troops for the greater goal. He is a true pragmatist -- however, this doesn't mean that he'll waste his troops. His brilliant intellect is finely tuned for finding the best possible solution. Vector Maximus prefers to outwit the enemy rather than overpower them, but he can overpower them if that is the best course of action. His powerful tank mode is capable of both blasting enemies to scrap or grinding them under his mighty treads, and his prowess with both melee and ranged weaponry knows no equal. Vector Maximus maintained his Autobot form, and towers over the Maximal troops that follow him. They frequently use his great armored bulk for cover from enemy fire.
ABILITIES: Laser core is capable of processing one million calculations per second. Tank mode is heavily armored, with few weak spots, and armed with three gamma energy cannons. In robot mode, one cannon goes to each arm with the third over the shoulder. He is also armed with twin energon battle blades capable of cutting through any armor. A large transformer, his great weight makes him practically an immovable object.
WEAKNESSES: Though well respected, Vector Maximus' cold logic does not make him well trusted by his troops. Vector Maximus is also sometimes prone to over-analyzing a situation when quick action is required.
