Widget's Bio

FUNCTION: Combat Engineer

PROFILE: The smallest of the Rat Pack, Widget's squirrel alt mode has no offensive capabilities and little recourse in combat other than to run and hide. Fortunately, Widget is good at both running and hiding, and even Crackdown has been known to have difficulty locating Widget when he doesn't want to be found. Widget is completely and totally brilliant, the top of his class back in school, but the fact that he's hyper and has a personality that resembles a human with Attention Deficit Disorder used to prevent him from making much use of it. Now, however, he has learned some small degree of focus since he discovered his love of creating new gadgets and inventions. Though he still can concentrate on little else, give him some tools and put him in front of some parts and he's like a totally different Maximal, creating the most amazing devices from little or nothing. Speaks with a squeaky voice so quickly he often accidentally slurs words together. Almost annoyingly cute.

ABILITIES: Other than his keen intellect, amazing ability to hide and impressive array of inventions, Widget can emit a high-pitched, annoying tone that can shut down the higher cognitive functions of other Transformers for a few seconds. Widget calls that his "winning charm," but the rest of the Rat Pack dread him using that capability because anyone nearby is equally affected, friend or foe. Widget often uses the moment or two he buys for himself to hide. Widget carries a small laser pistol for when he has need of such things.

WEAKNESSES: Too many to count. Can't concentrate on a task for long, highly vulnerable to enemy fire, little to no offensive capability; you name it, Widget probably has it.
