The Nemean Lion's Bio

Transmetallized by the quantum surge millions of years earlier, the Nemean Lion was made even more resistant when Echidna grafted dermal-plating from dud protoforms onto his body, in a procedure pioneered by the Decepticon Thunderwing and perfected by the Autobots during the great war, and coated him in an experimental Electrum/carbon-nanotube combination (giving him his brilliant golden finish).
He now serves as a general purpose warrior for the Predacons, dispatched on missions as backup to his more specialized comrades. In his down time, he is somewhat of a nuisance around the base, bullying Waspinator and a couple of his other teammates knowing that his hide will protect him from any of the damage they can dish out. As a result, Echidna often sends him to do 'busy-work', terrorizing the humans or bringing back food to complement the team's meager energon supplies, which he chauvinistly protests as a "femme's job" in spite of how much he enjoys hunting.
Strengths: The Nemean Lion fulfills his 'general combat' role well, as he is significantly above average in almost every way. His thickened hide gives him far more resilience in combat than one would expect in a comparatively fast and agile opponent. His predatory beast-mode provides an advantage in close combat, while his transmetal robot-mode isn't lacking for firepower. His three layers of armor make him virtually impervious to piercing, puncturing, or slashing, and immune to energon-fields and other sorts of Electromagnetic attacks.
Weaknesses: Although the Nemean Lion's electrum/carbon-nanotube coating is more heat-resistant and virtually permanent compared to a simple coating of pure "electrum" (what Cybertronians call an alloy of Rheanimum, Nucleon, Adamantium, Gold, and raw Energon), it is not as rigid as a the pure material when dried. Though that preserves his feline agility, it makes him vulnerable to crushing damage. Strong or heavy opponents can simply pound him into shiny scrap; his throat and neck are particularly vulnerable. Assuming an enemy can deliver them without needing to pierce his skin, cybertoxins and cybervenoms effect the Nemean Lion as they would any other Cybertronian.
