FUNCTION: Weapons Specialist

MOTTO:

BACKGROUND:
Phantomfire is one of two survivors of the fallen Decepticon sector, Phantom Zone. During the battle, what the Autobots now call "Phantom Clearout", weapons developer, Phantomfire was trapped in the testing labs. Just as he removed the fallen bulkheads, he encountered an Autobot salvage party. Forced to defend himself, he used all prototype weapons that he had in the lab. As his Energon supplies dwindled, he had to quickly jury-rig his weapons to be more energy efficient. Due to his haste, one of the prototype cannons he fashioned backfired. The malfunction caused an ionic plasma burst to hit his head.

His internal repair systems tried to correct the errors that were corrupting his systems. But the damage was too extensive. In a last ditch effort to escape the Autobots, he set the remaining weapons on overload and threw them at the Autobots. The subsequent explosions caused the rest of the building to lose its structural integrity, and collapsed. Luckily, Treadware's party was nearby when the building collapsed, and managed to pull Phantomfire out before his spark was extinguished.

Even though current diagnostics reveal nothing wrong with Phantomfire's CPU, Phantomstrike knows that Phantomfire is no longer the same. Instead of making weapons for comrades, he now makes bigger, stronger, and deadlier weapons for himself. The bigger the "BANG", the more excited he is. Treadware is fears that one day he'll build a weapon that will be powerful enough to destroy an entire solar system, and might use it. When that day comes, he might have to "cure" Phantomfire's problem permanently.
