Bio:
A young, enthusiastic Maximal, Ironshell is thoroughly convinced he is a Knight of the Old Code. The mech swore loyalty to Windracer, duty-bound to serve as her knight after a chance encounter during a Predacon raid, in which she came to his aide and saved his life. He’s a bit naive and can be somewhat oblivious, and like Raider, seems to be a nack for all sorts of accidents and disasters. Ironshell is courageous almost to the insane level. Thankfully, more level-headed team members often intervene before someone gets hurt. He idolizes Timecharge, another knight-like mech who agreed to take on the lively bot as his apprentice.

Weapons / Abilities:
In battle, his alternate form’s telson becomes a powerful lance that is nearly shatter proof. Along with the arm-mounted shield he frequently carries, his armor is near impervious to most common forms of laser ammunition. Well-versed in swordplay, he also has a beam sword concealed in the hilt of his lance for tight spots. His alternate form sports a low center of gravity, making it difficult to upturn, especially underwater.

Weaknesses:
One of Ironshell’s most glaring shortomings is obvious in his alternate mode. An aquatic creature it is near useless on land, and underwater, doesn’t boast the best maneuverability, either. His almost strict adherence to the Knight’s code and his powerful sense of honor oftentimes proves to be a bigger hindrance than benefit, particularly against less than honorable enemies.
