May 'bots think he's crazy, a lone wolf, an out there kind of guy for doing what he does and believing in things that most Transformers don't even want to think about let alone see. Winchester hunts those things that hunt robotics in the dark recesses of the planet, spark ghosts, energon vampires, Cyber-Zombies. He hunts them, and hunts them with pride.
Inspired by a tv show he saw once on Earth, he's adopted his form to that of a classic car that was used on the show by a pair of hunters that went after the creepy crawlies of the human world. When the team was moved into a Rescue group, he followed suit with Korona and picked something that mocked the 'cons just a little bit.
Winchester isn't above helping out the 'cons, but they usually don't want his help. The 'bots will take his help but still find him odd. He's found his place on Cavalier's team though. Cavalier lets him track his monsters as long as he's there when the team needs him on the line. Winchester thinks hunting the unpredictable has given him an edge in combat, and most of the Radicals would have to agree.
