Wilko was a long time veteran of the transformers wars having spent thousands of cycles fighting the good fight with the Autobots. His world changed when he was captured by Decepticon squad looking for experimental test subjects, the tests were designed to wipe a transformers mind and body back to a protoform effectively subverting an enemy as opposed to destroying them. While the process worked to some level on Wilko, it returned him to a protoform state; it left his mind apparently unaffected. Emerging from his protoform state Wilko scanned the first thing before him, a statue of Megatron in his original cybertronian mode. The decepticons made one mistake however they neglected to realise that a transformer of some experience has a great deal more power than a protoform, power that has to go somewhere… When Wilko finished reformatting he unleashed that power in a single apocalyptic blast from his new tank mode gun, he destroyed the lab, the decepticons, and rest of the “Test subjects”.
Despite his now weakened condition when he returned to the Autobots he was able to use his former reputation as a lever to gain approval to form his own team. He collected the freaks the transformers no one else would have and battered them into a team. The SFB as this team became known for its violent ruthless efficiency, too violent it seemed for the Autobot leadership, and after several very public ‘disagreements’ about this and other subjects Wilko left the Autobots behind taking himself and most of his team over to the decepticons. He rules his team now with brutal regime using whichever transformers he requires for victory. Although he trusts some members of his team Wilko has a relationship with at least one, The Master, which could at best be described as antagonistic. Whilst the Master constantly plots the overthrow of his ‘Leader’ Wilko contents himself with aggravating him mainly by small things such as refusing to use his name referring to him solely as Timelord, unbeknownst to the Master however he has his Intelligence and Surveillance expert Omniken watch and monitor all the Masters activities… One such plan involving using Red5, another member of SFB demonstrates effectively Wilko’s command style, he ripped Red5’s spark from his chest and then beat the Master to within a nanometre of non-functionality, while he had the Master healed he dumped Red5’s body and replaced him.
