The first unit built from the wreckage of the Razorblade, EDF-001 codename Airhawk was created primarily from the remains of the Autobot Airhawk, whom the unit recieved its name from.

The Airhawk is a support class mobile suit fitted with a tactical analysis matrix which allows its pilot to quickly and effectively provide mid combat battlefield and tactic data to its entire squad. For this reason it is designated as the command unit of the Earth Defense Force's mobile suit squadron.

It is equipped with twin Energon beam sabers which can be combined into a twin bladed beam sword as well as shoulder mounted energy gatling cannons and a wrist mounted defensive shield.
