Function: Scout
Profile: Vector is as mysterious to his fellow Decepticons as he is to his enemies. He says little about himself and reveals even less. But in action he is as deadly as a computer virus. "I don't care if he never utters another word, as long as he keeps scrapping Autobots," says Squadron Commander Darkmount of this eerie aerial adventurer. "We have enough big-talk, small-results types here already." Vector's favorite and most effective battle tactic is to sneak up on unwary Autobots, scare them, fly away... and then return to destroy them while their guards are down. How this loner manages to surprise as many opponents as he does is a secret to which not even his commanding officers are privy. But the suspicion among many Decepticons is that Vector has developed a "cloaking" system --a technology that allows him to turn invisible and avoid detection-- that he refuses to share with his comrades... just in case he should decide to one day use it against them.
Vector is binary bonded to Armastice, a brutish professional hyperwrestler-turned-underworld-nightclub-owner. If Vector was lacking anything in the sadistic department before, his Minicon partner more than makes up for it. The two are ideally matched, delighting in the pain and carnage they deal out with savage abandon. These two like minds, constantly seeking the thrill of combat, have no room left for fear, making Vector a warrior without compare
Abilities: Vector transforms into an assault helicopter equipped with two batteries of automatic particle beam cannons and two remote control-guided fusion bombs. His maximum speed is 520 miles per hour and his range is 1300 miles. Vector uses sensitive sensors to sweep over the landscape from horizon to horizon, like a radar scope, and, with the help of internal 3-dimensional simulation circuitry, stores this information as a topographical map. Error distortion is no more than one inch per 150 feet distance from point of data collection. Among his sensor array, Vector also possesses an infrared radiation collector. It can detect heat differentials as small as .02 degrees Centigrade, and he uses this ability in tracking machines as well as humans. Combining with Armastice activates Vector's secret defense, an optronic cloaking screen, his outer skin is covered in microscopic cameras and holographic emitters that scans a localised area around Vector and maps the image onto his own body creating holographic camoflage that makes Vector impossible to be seen 9 times out of 10.
Weaknesses: Vector's obsessive reliance on his own skills, combined with his inability to listen to advice often puts him in terrible danger. His solo gambits can wreck carefully laid team battle plans and often result in harm coming to his teammates. Disliked by his fellow Decepticons for hiding the secret of his cloaking screen, the chances of someone coming to Vector's aid are slim.
