Carnage
"Shoot everywhere, youre bound to hit somethin eventually"
Level 8 Decepticon
Carnage's Bio
Function: Space Defense
Profile: Long suspected of having one too many disconnected circuits in his logic center, Carnage is a crazed, computerized creep who thinks everything is a big joke. Even in the midst of a raging battle, he's usually too busy laughing uncontrollably and drooling lubricant to look where he's shooting. Worse for him, he doesn't pay much attention to who's shooting in his direction either. He is seemingly intoxicated by the sounds of his own gunfire, staggering about blissfully as he blasts away. The occasional battlefield success he has is a result of the panic his wild shooting sprees sometimes generate among opponents. Those who've known him for a long time trace his erratic behavior back millions of years ago, to an episode in a Decepticon warrior-trainee boot camp: Carnage was practicing the use of a proton machine gun while riding a hoverboard. He slipped and fell on his head, all the while firing wildly away. A half dozen of his teachers were unintentionally disintegrated. Fearing the worst, Carnage was happily surprised when the camp's commander lauded him for his lethal expertise and graduated him on the spot. He has adopted that manic offensive strategy ever since, although no one is sure if he acts this way because of his initial success with it or because the bump on his head shook a few wires loose.
Buckshot is a sleazy, careless con-bot who habitually over-looked building defects in exchange for illegal payoffs when he still had a job in Polyhex. Realizing the dimming prospects of his career after a series of high-rise collapses, he seized upon the opportunity to ally himself with the Decepticons. He saw his partnership with Carnage as a new beginning full of promise and hope. But after being bio-engineered to have the ability to combine with Carnage, Buckshot quickly showed his true colors. Unlike Carnage, Buckshot doesn't even try to aim when he shoots. Like everything else in his life, he just doesn't care enough to bother
Abilities: In robot mode Carnage wields a rapid fire Automatic Acid-Pellet Gun which can pump up to 4,000 rounds made up of discrete clusters of highly acidic energy particles through its multiple barrels. Carnage converts to a turbo-thrust starfighter with atmospheric capabilities, with a maximum speed of 198,000 mph and range of 400,000 miles. He's equipped with two twin side-mounted, rapid-fire photon pulse guns, used mostly for attacks on other flying craft. He also possesses an over-the-horizon pulse-doppler radar that allows him to spot flying craft within a 700-mile radius. When Carnage combines with Buckshot the rate of fire of his weapons increase as well as their destructive capability.
Weaknesses: Needless to say, given the wasteful manner in which he uses his weapons, Carnage often finds himself out of ammunition during the most inopportune occasions- such as in the middle of a full-scale Autobot counterattack. Fortunately Carnage's excellent maneuverability and speed partially compensate for this deficiency allowing him to escape from harm.
