Night Beast has been around a long time, before even the starting of the First Great War and was even present during the years of the war against the Cult of Unicron working for the Cybertronian Inquisition. His work has pretty much stayed the same since then: Assassination.
Always willing to do the dirty work even in the days
when there were no Bots and Cons, just Cybertronians. The difference now is that he does it not for the "better good of all", but for no other reason then to forget all those close to him that he has lost over the many milleniums.
Night Beast's stealth, agility, heightened senses, and anti-detection devices make him one of the most deadly assassins in Cybertronian history...although there are not many who can attest to this given the lack of witnesses, only satisfied contractors.
Night Beast's carries a pair of phase claws that bypass any armor an opponent or potential target may have, enhancing his assassination abilities considerably. Night Beast is also capable of limited shadow manipulation that allows him to misdirect opponents to his true whereabouts.

Weaknesses:
Where once Night Beast ignored the fact that all the "friends" around him were dying over the many millenium, he now has bitter regrets of their loss. This has in turn caused him to become totally merceiless and unwilling to make new friends. He has only bitter hatred and loathing, both for himself and for all around him...the difference is that now he does it to end it....either by killing all his enemies or by finally finding the "death" he has always managed to avoid or cheat over so many millenia.
Night Beast has very few range attacks, making him susceptible to them. The fact that he is almost impossible to detect or spot at range makes up for this. In close combat sneak attacks he is at his most deadly, but opponents that survive his initial attacks and have superior strength and endurance can be a problem for him.
