Personality: Hot Rod is brash and headstrong, with an overwhelming self-confidence that borders arrogance. Sideswipe has assumed the role of mentor and advisor to the impetuous young Hot Rod, offering him advice when he needs it and teaching him the ways of the warrior. Hot Rod is blunt, naive, but brave, honorable, loyal to his friends, and willing to risk his life to stop the Decepticons and help the Autobots. With time and experience, Optimus believes he could make an excellent leader, and Prime has appointed him to command structure of several groups accordingly. Hot Rod's got the goods, but he just needs to pay attention for more than five seconds. A thing that Sideswipe's impatient to set straight. He is the fastest Autobot on wheels, so he gets into way too much trouble. Thankfully, both Optimus Prime and Sideswipe keep a steady eye on him.
