Schlockwave is the accidental clone of Shockwave. After a teletransportation accident involving a defective space bridge with a double receptor, Schlockwave appeared... as an autobot.

This accident left the cool, logical and rational parts of the mind in Shockwave, and left the anxious, dubitative, phobic and irrational parts in Schlockwave.
