Howlback's Bio
Bio: Howlback is the girlfriend and battle partner of the M.C.A leader Crossfire. She was once part of the decepticon equivalent to the Gestapo-the Cobalt Sentries, a secret police. Her and her team-mate Garboil managed to keep everyone in line, and if not, turned them over to Megatron. However, near the end of the war, Howlback was the victim of a cruel conspiracy-Garboil wanted to rule the cobalt sentries alone, having had to put up with Howlback’s bossy attitude and cold, murderous streak, and managed to frame her for showing compassion towards the autobots. Megatron was unfortunately just coming back from a battle against the autobots in which they won, and Howlback was not only forced out of her job but also put onto a hit-list as a little game-whoever brought her back deactivated would have a tremendous amount of currency to play with. Crossfire, being the money-grabbing fool he was back then, responded in kind and went after Howlback.
What Crossfire didn’t know was that he was going to be replaced as the top bounty hunter for Megatron, and the newcomer had decided to take the ‘out with the old, in with the new’ approach, sending a team of hunters and decepticon soldiers all wanting a piece of the bounty after Crossfire. The two jaguar-bots managed to make it to an old abandoned shuttle, thanks to Howlback’s knowledge of the area and Crossfire’s firepower. They flew the shuttle to Mobius, pleading with Optimus to allow them to defect to the autobot side along the way, and eventually he said yes as they landed in the desert area of Mobius. Eventually, Draconis Prime found his old friend and Howlback and asked them to join his team. Having no real other options, Howlback accepted, and remained on Mobius until Megatron calmed down. However, now that he’s let his guard down…
Abilities: Howlback is a very versatile robot, and actually a triple changer, thanks to mass shifting-She is currently in the form of a Chevrolet Corvette convertible, but she can also transform into a cybertronian/mobian motorcycle. She has two robot modes, one which is closer to her G1 appearance in that she becomes a quadrapedal robotic jaguar with cannons on her rear haunches, and another which is a rather sleek bipedal mode where she carries those two large cannons as retractable shoulder cannons, and is most of the time associated with her motorcycle mode. Apart from her laser cannons which can burn through decepticon alloy, she also has a feedbacker, or rather, ‘Howlbacker’ shield that can not only protect her but throw energy weapon attacks right back at her enemies. She also seems to have picked up Lylyth’s sound-blasting technique-she has speakers on her Corvette mode that can deafen other robots. In both modes (Vehicle and robot), she also functions as a communications hub for the team-she provides information for the team and monitors incoming messages from autobot and decepticon alike.
Personality: Howlback has become a little softer than she originally was while working for Megatron, but that doesn’t mean she’s any less a capable killer. When the Metal City Autobots aren’t fighting you’ll normally find her courting with Crossfire or something similar. She can get rather bossy if there’s things she wants done in a certain time limit, but most of the group put up with that.
Weaknesses: Howlback is often rather stubborn and doesn’t like to deviate from a set plan…Plus, her fondness for Crossfire can be exploited by decepticons if they’re clever enough…But if they say the wrong word, it may just get them killed.
